Jon does have kingsblood, since his father isn't Ned, but Rhaegar. At least this is what GRRM seems to be building.

That's why I said as far as Westeros (and Stannis and Melisandre) knows

That's not how you spell Patchface.

I always preferred the "Tyrion is a secret Targ" theory.

Patchface is essentially GRRM in the story and since GRRM is an fat gay man with a captain's hat, he wouldn't write himself in ****ing Ned's sister, unless it's in the ass and you can't make babies that way.

Patchface can.

What? I don't know how much of this is lies or truth but I'm pretty sure he's not gay.

looks like cercei's walk of shame will be in season 5 which makes it yet more likely that books 4 and 5 will be compressed into 1 season. 👇

Can't even wait to see bald naked Lena Headey in a fat suit.

thoroughly convincing fan theory IMO:

tyrion is actually the son of tywin's wife and the mad king, from when he "took liberties" during her bedding ceremony. this would make tyrion a targaryan and thus the third dragon.

check it out:

ugh sloppy wording. didnt mean to suggest that tyrion was conceived during aerys' 'liberties', but plenty of clues where that that the mad king had a mad crush on tywin's wife and was said to have finally went completely mad when she die.

also remember tywin seemed very suspicious that he had been cuckolded.

“You ask that? You, who killed your mother to come into the world? You are an ill-made, devious, disobedient, spiteful little creature full of envy, lust, and low cunning. Men’s laws give you the right to bear my name and display my colors, since I cannot prove that you are not mine. To teach me humility, the gods have condemned me to watch you waddle about wearing that proud lion that was my father’s sigil and his father’s before him. But neither gods nor men shall ever compel me to let you turn Casterly Rock into your whorehouse.”

So Tyrion is Jon's uncle. I like it.

it all makes too much sense.

Nah, I don't buy it. It robs the nuance from Tyrion and Tywins relationship if he isn't his son. I love that part where Tywins sister talks about how despite Tywins hatred for Tyrion, it was undeniable that Tyrion was his son and the child most like him.

"most like him" could simply mean "the only one skilled in statecraft", a skill which his siblings lack. this doesnt necessarily denote genetic inheritance.

No, but it does rob the dramatic irony from Tywin and Tyrion's relationship.

Tyrion and Tywin are so alike in many ways (Both are skilled statesmen, both married for love rather than power, both **** whores, both are intelligent political schemers who eschew the hypermasculine culture Westeros runs on, both try to only do cruel or questionable acts when they think it's necessary, etc.), yet despite that fact Tywin hates him beyond any of his other children. This is part of what makes their relationship and antagonism toward each other so power.

Making Tyrion not Tywins son would be lame for the same reason making Zuko not Ozai's son would be. It makes it look as if the father's were justified in their dislike and for disowning them and ruins their relationship. The conflict is powerful because despite the hatred, the connection and relationship between them can never truly go away and they have to deal with that. Without them being related its just "oh, well ok...."

One could make the argument that the revelation coming so late is in itself dramatic and tearjerking if Tyrion realizes how he could have just left it all behind if he had the information earlier.

Tear jerking? Tywin was prepared to have Tyrion executed for a crime he didn't commit. And then Tywin boned the woman Tyrion loved... I doubt tyrion would have any regrets.
