It's more successful because it's better, that means better weapons and the better power. Death Star and the force.
I've seen a Star Trek film so I know a little bit about it. And as I said I saw that film and it wasn't to good.

More successful does not mean subjectively better. It is objectively more successful. But you can't argue subjectivity.

Genesis device, and red matter are vastly superior. The force is vague and feats wise is kind of laughable to the big guns here.
