Not in the cinemas here yet.

But from what I read... possibly the best MCU movie to date 😐

after thinking about it for a few days, I liked TWS better.

TWS has a better story, characters and action while CW has more humor and the added avengers. CW has more of avengers feel to it than a cap movie. It felt like a team movie. I liked the individual storylines better than the avengers one.

Ant Man was my fave part from CW. I laughed my ass off.

TWS is still the best comic to date, IMO.

I was supercritical when The Winter Soldier came out, but I loved it.
I didn't know what to expect from Guardians, but it's great.
This one was supposed to be awesome... and it left me rather underwhelmed.

Here are my main issues with it:
1. The first 45 minutes are kinda boring despite two great fight sequences. But this length all centres around... a piece of paper that needs to be signed. I didn't quite get the gravitas of that document that would cause such a great rift between these guys that stood together DESPITE their differences.
And then there's all that talk about that document... Phantom Menace anyone?

2. Great fight at the airport but... again... I found it quite hard to go along with these guys suddenly wanting to tear each other's heads off. It just didn't gel with me.

3. In the end it's all a rather flimsy revenge story by

a Sokovian ex-military guy angry that his family was killed in Sokovia. Boohoo... and then he manages to lure all of these great heroes with, yes it's true, a FORGED photograph into massive fighting. And then there's a ridiculously elaborate scheme dealing with an obscurely obtained security video that was somehow moved (by whom) from America to a secret location in Siberia... and then our villain goes there to... err... NOT awaken the other Winter Soldiers but to make Cap and Iron Man fight??? I mean... WTF???

So yeah... everyone's great and all... but to me it's not the best in the series. Highlight to me... was Spider-Man. Great new way to introduce him and... YES YES YES... he keeps talking during the fight. YAAAYYY!!!

Is CW better than TDK?

For the record, I hated BP's accent as well, but didn't give shit since he was goddamn awesome. Looking at his fights with Bucky and Cap he actually looks a bit stronger than Cap as well.
Spidey may have been a little childish, but he was really funny, inventive and decently powerful
Both of them kicked seven kinds of ass without sacrificing the character, so I am not bothered by the nitpicks

To me would have been on par with TWS if Spider-Man wasn't in it. But Spidey made the film superior for me.

Toms voice is raspy and he doesn't look to be a good peter Parker... maybe his solo film will change that.

Chad boseman is nowhere near my ideal black panther.
Id rather an actual African man to play such an iconic character... if any non African man should have gotten the role it should have been Nate Parker.

This is all just my opinion though
