I'd say Rogue One is going to capitalize on Darth Vader and especially since this is a Holiday release again...it's going to make big bucks.

I don't see it making anything less than $800 million. Star Wars: The Force Awakens proved that a new generation of Star Wars fans are hungry for more of that universe...especially if it's a good film.

I think Rogue One will definitely gross a Billion.

On the other hand Civil War has already hit a Billion so could gross considerably more.

But I still wouldn't count Rogue One out. Star Wars is bigger than Marvel now.

Bwhaha at Rogue One making only £500 million. Even marvels "lesser" movie make more money than that.

Yeah that is not happening, especially with Vader in it. Anyway 1.2 billion should be the goal of Civil War.

The Dark Knight Rises 15 day total: 328.4 million

And the Batman movie didn't have 3D tickets.

^ Looks like the over saturation of superhero movies is starting to take effect. Because I think just about everyone agrees Civil War > TDKR and >>>>> IM3.

I think it's much greater than Age of Ultron as well, but I guess that had the advantage of having an Avengers title.
