Captain America: Civil War

Civil War was such a huge part of the MCU, they'd be crazy not to at least try and include it. And of course, who doesn't want more RDJ screen time??

A nod to it would be nice. That's not the direction I'd want the entire universe to head in though.

yeah, I wish this Current production team that is invested in this series would let go of the idea of doing a (civil war) movie. Too much has to happen for this to reign true. Cut your loses and just tell a Good story. That's what will keep the fans coming back again.

Maybe they'll make it work, they've done a pretty good job so far.

It does seem like a bit of a strange diversion from the whole Thanos/Infinity Gem arc. Assuming of course the Civil War is continued as the main plot of Avengers 3.

maybe its a set up to the death of cap instead of civil war.. i can't see civil war happening this soon.. we just got to see thanos.. the infinity gems aren't even all accounted for yet.. plus, they need everybody from the marvel universe for this to work right.. at least the major players..

Nobody from Marvel has stated this will be Civil War or anything about Cap vs Tony. That's all speculation so not sure why people are freaking out about this.

Even if the official title turns out to be "Civil War," it's likely that it won't follow the same storyline as the comic ala "Age of Ultron."

If IM is indeed going to be in Cap3, they should have these two finally kiss. They went out of their way in Avengers to build up the sexual tension, but I can't see them following through in Avengers 2, still too soon.

SHIELD has always been very involved in Cap's story. Now with Stark running SHIELD, it only makes sense for RDJ to be in Cap 3. Civil War storyline is no guarantee.

It's more than just speculation because Variety is a very reliable source. And the fact that Marvel's not denied it says a lot.

Although it should be noted that even the Variety report said RDJ was still in negotiations, so it could still fall through.

While I think the vast majority of the big MCU fan's are "mindless optimists" they can pull it off.

Just not exactly like the comics but I don't know why people think that's even a remote possibility.
