Potter did give Voldemort the chance to give up, but he was too weak to accept his gracious gesture.

Nice. Although we already kinda suspected this. I'll tell you what, when you look at the starpower in the MCU....it's a good thing their movies make alot of money because they have to shell it out like mad....

Giving up just isn't in his nature. That's a Superman trait. I mean the guy gave up and let his own step daddy die. Coward.

Voldemort is forever.

Dunno if anyone has seen this clip but it's pretty neat. Talks a bit about Civil War without giving anything away really. http://comicbook.com/2015/12/07/new-captain-america-civil-war-preview-video-released/

Thanks, will check it out later.

Wonder if he ends up being Red Skull in the end, Hope Kevin Fiege has plans for his return.

I've thought about this as well. I do think Red Skull will return, and Civil War might be the ABSOLUTE PERFECT place for it to happen. But, it also could very well not happen. For starters, they'd probably have to find someone else to play RS because Hugo Weaving wanted out.

Yeah, I think Hugo Weaving wants to take a rest from doing big blockbuster type movies.

And he was the voice of Megatron.
So he has been in a trilogy of block buster trilogies.

Civil War prelude comic

http://www.comicbookresources.com/comic-previews/marvels-captain-america-civil-war-prelude-1-marvel-comics-2015

Is the comic a requirement to understand the movie? It would be pretty dumb if it were.

I don't think so when it comes to the story

because i remember getting the one for Thor: The Dark World, Mainly filled in the gaps before, during & after the events for Avengers 1.... didn't add much to the story for Thor: The Dark World.

Well that works I suppose.

What are your guys' predictions for Civil War? Like, what major thing do you think will happen that will change the way we look at the MCU...

I feel that someone is going to die. I haven't narrowed it down yet, but I don't feel it's War Machine, as I don't think they'd show that death in a trailer. But it's not outside the realm of possibility.

I'm still betting they'll actually kill off Cap like in the comics.

I'd agree with you if Chris Evans didn't have 1 more movie on his plate after this. But it is an interesting theory.

Confirmed? I hadn't heard of this

There goes my theory.

EDIT: You're right, he's already confirmed for Avengers 3. Thats kind of disappointing. It kills all the tension of having a civil war movie. Oh well

Well, not necessarily....His role in Avengers 3 could be small or cameo. But my guess is that he will Die in Avengers 3 at the hands of Thanos.
