Captain America: Civil War

I'm not even quite sure that Thanos didn't PLAN for Ronan to "go rogue" in the first place. Ronan takes the gem, destroys the Nova Corps...that's one less thing for Thanos to have to worry about. We'll see how it all plays out though.

I doubt they'll dwell back on Ronan, there's really not much need to, but sure, certainly possible.

Anyhow, moving back to the topic. Decent article on why this is a Cap movie and not an Avengers flick as some have claimed, a lot of it we already know or expect, still a decent read:

Cannot wait to see Bucky and this film. Team Cap all the way.

Yep, Team Cap for me.

thanks rob, I will read it later...

anyways in 6 weeks time I will be seeing this multiple times

See there's an alarming amount of hype building up now to the point where I think it might get in the way of legit criticism. Also there's been 2 trailers and still no sign of Baron Zemo: was he not supposed to be in this film?

He is and will be. But why show him? Marvel doesn't need to give you the whole movie in a trailer.

Marvel went out of their way to advertise Spiderman, though a good marketing move, and have already shown Crossbones. Showing Baron Zemo won't spoil much more than what we've already seen.

Personally it doesn't bother me if they do or do not show Baron Zemo in a trailer

Keep him for the movie something to look forward to seeing when watching the actual movie.

Perhaps...but again; they don't NEED to show Zemo. There are alot of editing tricks in the trailers that make you THINK something is happening when it's not (Bucky shooting down War Machine).

We THINK we know what the story is, but in truth there is alot we Don't know. The only thing we know for sure at this point is Cap and Iron Man are going to have a massive fight.

That's what I think too.

The hype is too much for this movie at this point.

Too much hype? I don't see how. It's earned any hype it gets. It's the follow up to Winter Soldier; in many people's view that's the best Marvel movie. So you throw in all the other characters AND Spidey and of course there will be a ton of hype. Time will tell if it's even possible for it to live up to the hype....my gut says yes. As I stated before, the Russo bros. proved that they "Get it". Cannot wait to see the finished product.

I think WS was a great movie too. But the movie has set the bar so high and the fans are expecting so much from this movie, its going to be difficult to reach that level.

Too much hype is rarely a good thing.

Too much hype oh please. Marvel set the bar high whereas DC hasn't. That's a good problem to have.

I guess that fair though the lack of coverage on the character seemed off. Who know Civil Wars might be better for it but if surprise is what Marvel was going for then why name drop him at all?

Abhi has got a point. With WS being so damn good, the Spidey hype and now BVS being a critical failure. People are going to hype Civil War even more.

Maybe too much.

It doesn't matter how much hype this movie gets, it'll either be good or it won't be.

No movie could have more hype than SW EP7 did, it wasn't hurt by it.

I'd argue AoU and IM3 has quite the hype train yet ultimately didn't deliver which raise my concerns about being let down once the movie comes out.

TFA was a different situation so I'm not sure comparing its hype to BvS or CW is really fair.

Those weren't good movies.

OK, Avengers had a lot of hype, TDK had a lot of hype, I could go on. The only time hype hurts a movie is when it just isn't good so you want expectations to be as low as possible.

Wow people attacking the "hype" for this movie now, with nothing else left to attack.. Strange form of criticism.

Its not like BvS or TFA where everything is riding on this. And like Mindset pointed out, nothing could be more hyped than TFA and the hype only helped the film.

Also I don't even think this is the most hyped Marvel film to date. That would still be Avengers1.
