😂
As much as I loved GotG, that was one of my big problems with it. They've been building up Thanos for years to be Marvel's "Big Bad" and he gets punked by a second rate villain.
Originally posted by ares834Thanos didn't even deem him worthy of a response. When the two were in the same vicinity he didn't dare try to say anything to this effect. Ronan failed complete and utterly at the end. This is just sad of you to attach yourself to this obvious troll response. You're still an idiot.
You sound mad.Thanos was punked plain and simple. Ronan played him as the fool. Now, whether or not Thanos actually feared Ronan is a different question.

Ronan did have the gem at that point though, why Thanos had no problem putting Ronan in his place initially, then couldn't speak after Ronan became a world-killer with the gem. Ask yourself the logical question: Why would Thanos suddenly be without words/threats when he wasn't before. Also, the look on his face is telling. ie Thanos was puncked by Ronan

He's always mad, fanboys can't stand when their favorites have a showing they don't agree with. Best to just point and laugh.
Thanos was not punked by Ronan. Ronan cut off Thanos' response after he got power hungry. After watching AoU Thor states that someone's been playing an intergalactic game of chess. Thanos has been masterminding this entire MCU to this point; at least in regards to the Infinity gems. When Thanos comes, he's going to bring the pain. People will die. The end of the MCU as we all know it for sure. Ronan was misused and killed WAY prematurely...but he wasn't a threat to Thanos.

Robtard is a troll and doesn't understand Thanos nor the threat he represents. Bit of a DC fanboy but a really ignorant one. He won't even address me as I punk him on the daily according to his own standards.

Sorry, but he did. Thanos planned for Ronan to deliver the gem and Ronan said "no", that wasn't part of Thanos' plan. ie He was punked. Why we later see Thanos saying "fine, I'll do it myself" or the like during an end-credit scene, meaning his initial plans of having others do his bidding and gathering the gems for him had failed.
Thanos is obviously going to be powerful, especially with the stones, he has to pose a threat to the MCU. But that has nothing to do with the above.
Originally posted by RobtardOkay, so, because Ronan did his own thing that's being "punked". It doesn't take much to punk someone in your view then.

As far as power? Ronan was not a threat to Thanos even with the gem; nor was Thanos scared of him.
Originally posted by CPT Space BombHe really believes Tha is was afraid of him. He's an idiot. Thanos didn't even dignify it with a response. By Rob's own logic I punk him all the time. Rob fears mighty Thanos because he fears all the characters I support.

I think you're oversimplifying the scene, it was to illustrate the power of the gem. But hey, no problem if you feel otherwise, not something worth getting into a long back-and-forth debate over as it's likely not something that's going to matter in the future and we've both made our claims/views.
As far as Ronan with gem not being a threat to Thanos, not sure you can say that as a fact, all we have going for Thanos thus far is claims. If we take all statements at face value, Ronan survived a moon-busting attack straight to his chest; that's pretty impressive.
