Carver just give it up. If the Hulk get's bfr'd to the sun, it's all over. He's not coming home... ever. He would never be able to escape the suns gravity first of all, and he would die of oxygen deprivation. Current Hulk doesn't need to breathe and this has been shown and stated on numerous of occasions (you really need to keep up with the character Stoic, you'll probably see how powerful he is).

No names? Sun dude has fts that puts him in the high Herald tier, and this was before his fight against a debatable green Hulk. Also, lol, people get defeated by new opponents all of the time, including Superman, Thor, and Surfer. You don't like the Hulk, you like WWH. Different meaning.

The World War Hulk scenario featured Black Bolt screaming in Hulk's face.

Superman got taken down by Live wire using hypersonics only a fraction of that magnitude.

Unless he's bringing neutronium plugs, I'd really like to know how Clark makes it past that first hurdle.

Yep you're right, I hate the Savage Hulk, I can't stand him being stupid, and walking around grunting, while idiot writers decide to toss his entire history down the tubes. He was supposed to mature with age, and his grunting days were supposed to be over due to character progression, but you have writers that want to take us back to the 70's era Hulk over and over again due of some ridiculous notion of nostalgia. I loved Mr. Fixit, Merged Hulk, and yes the Green Scar. This guy is just another Bizarro, Dumb Drax, or Solomon Grundy, in a green wrapper. So yes I've missed a few issues because it's very difficult to remain interested in a character that never progresses, or does, only to go back two steps.

I'm actually wondering how you can take reading the mess that this writer is doing on the Hulk. It's almost obvious that he hates the character.

He really doesn't hate the character. I don't think you are seeing what he is doing for Hulk. At first It was questionable if Hulk had Super speed, not anymore. Hulk is running around as a speedster In almost every comic he wrote. People use to say bfring Is a huge option on taking out the Hulk. That's thrown out the window as well. People use to say Hulk needs to breath. Not anymore due to him covering that as well. He has covered EVERYTHING involving the Hulk. Now the writing Is alright. Don't see anything wrong with it to be honest. It's not Pak level but it's good. He has helped Hulk as a character, covered every aspect of the character. His durability (hell, he has Hulk as durable as adamantium), speed, strength, etc... personality wise. Hulk IS multiples of personalities, it's who he is. You can't like the Hulk if you don't like his multiples of personalities. That comes along with the character.
