Thor: Ragnarok

Saw it again. It’s actually better on 2nd viewing. This may be in my top 3 Marvel movies.

Watched this movie Thursday and I greatly enjoyed. My biggest compliant is most of the time Thor is supposed to be epic and the true mythological character. I felt too often at times he was made the butt of the the joke just to get a laugh.

Though when Thor goes full god mode in his fight it is still amazing to see and the acting is top notch from everyone.

Spoiler:
Also can I say I don't want Thor to go back to Earth I want him, Hulk,
Loki, Valkyrie, and Heimdall to go on epic quests. Also I was sad to see how quickly the warriors 3 got taken out.

Awesome movies. All of the characters were great, the humor was on point, and the action was fun.

I loved that they are setting up a

Spoiler:
King Thor
story-line; that has a lot of potential.

Best comic film of the year.
This film will be a lot better than Justice league. I'll be seeing this film again this week. Everything I claimed came true. Also Surtur, Hela, are pretty badass.

For some reason I can't read Darth Thor's spoilered posts unlike others, nor can I quote him 😒

Yeah,

Spoiler:
Hogun was the only one to give Hela even a little bit of a fight. The other two got snuffed out like nothing.

I do wonder how they are going to address the Lady Sif thing in the future. Jaimie Alexander had another commitment, which is why she was absent from the film. But, canonically, based on an interview with Kevin Feige, she was seemingly banished from Asgard at some point during Loki's reign, when he was pretending to be Odin. So, she is off somewhere in the galaxy, doing who knows what.

But how is he going to get the king thor level powers?

YouTube video

They can't make Hulk movies.. so they waste a perfect change to make Skar a thing to make Skar movies.

lol But besides that I did like the movie. It was funny, and some great action.

Easily the best Thor movie. Only complaint was the humor eventually got nauseating. Top 5 of the MCU, but not better than IM1, GOTG, Avengers, and Hulk.

Looking at 125 or so OW. And 800 plus WW. Not bad.

That scene where Banner is driving Grandmaster's ship and he presses that button and then out of nowhere Goldblum screams "ITS MY BIRTHDAY", I ****ing died lol my gut hurt after that scene

Spoiler:

They tried to insert enough funny stuff, at the same time keep the tragic feeling.

I don't like Hela's design, she is powerful, but all we saw is just her throwing dagger again and again, that's a bit disappointing for a god battle.

I guess that ship was Thanos', coming for the infinite gem right?

Spoiler:
Yes, most likely. As Loki seems to have stolen the Tesseract in the Surtur revival scene.

What do you think is the last gem he is going to get?

Why didn't they use its power to fight Hela? Didn't it grant UNLIMITED POWER?
Spoiler:
Why didnt they use to save odin? Why dont they use it to kill thanos?

Spoiler:
Provided you know how to use it, yeah. It was mainly used for making portals, but its potential is greater.

My guess is Loki didn't know how to utilize it in a battle scenario without prep and wanted to keep it for himself, anyway.

I would love to see

Spoiler:
Thor yelling UNLIMITED POWER! when he uses lightning to blast Hela out of space.

😂

Spoiler:
While that would be a great tribute to SW and I would certainly enjoy that, the Tesseract just doesn't seem to work like this.
