Thor: Ragnarok

i enjoyed this a lot.. pleasantly surprised with tessa thompson. always been a fan of cate blanchett... urban was all righty as skurge.. overal i found the story exciting. a good end to a fair trilogy.

while the humor was funy and i did laugh a lot, the only negative i had was that the comedy shouldn;t been every other line. i would still recommend this to the haters and they know who they are....

8/10

Tessa was good --- but did she REALLY need to be the Valkyrie? No.

Cate delivered as always. Such a versatile actress.

Urban would've been better if

Spoiler:
A) the movie had been actually serious B) he had executed that Asgardian female. Otherwise his redemption means too little.

7/10 from me.

You're all much nicer about this movie than I am. But I'm me, so...

Spoiler:
Too bad Sif isn't in this movie due to schedule problem, would love to see her fight Hela.

Spoiler:
Hela could use the gem to open portals instead of get the sword as well. Why didn't she use it?

Didnt she open a portal under her own power in the beginning

Phil totally demolished it, so you're far from the guy that shits on this film 😂

Spoiler:
Yeah, but remember - she could've been killed just like the Warriors Three. Feige even said so in the interview. So by not appearing in Ragnarok, we'll at least get to see her again.

Spoiler:
Probably because the Tesseract needs the right tech to use it? Based on what we've seen.

lol, I saw what he said.

Gotta be honest, I liked GotG 2 much more.

Ragnarok was fun and all right, but not well balanced, as you said.

Yeah I preferred GOTG 2, Thor was good but yeah GOTG 2 for me. Huge improvement compared to the last 2 films.

GotG 2 was awful. Thor 3 was way better in every way. Better humor, better characters, better plot, better action, better villains, etc...

Thor himself was arguably the worst part. I like Thor as a character, but being a bumbling, clumsy Inspector Cluseau-type one second and a badass warrior prince the next was terribly jarring.

The action I can't fault, at least. It might not carry the stakes or weight it really should, but bar Hulk v Fenrir, none of it was badly but together.

GOTG Vol. 2 is underrated, IMO. I'd say the film was better built than Ragnarok.

Agreed.

I didn't mind Hulk vs Fenris, but Thor vs depowered Surtur... omg.

It was. Ragnarok is half crineworthy, half funny.

Or I'm just biased, becaue of Kurt Russell. 😛

When the original trailer came out and people said "lol it's nothing like Guardians", Thor's opening scene alone against Surtur could have been written for Starlord dialogue wise.

And the fight was okay. Well put together, but not terribly epic when compared to the frost giants fight in the first movie.

The high priestess is more interesting than Hela.

Ayesha, you mean?

Maybe. But the Grandmaster is way more interesting then her.
