Jesus **** Christ

These women had the choice to put their pics up on the net, from that moment forth their should be no "horn-shaming"

Consenting ADULTS chose to get their pics taken and other consenting ADULTS chose to enjoy them

So if you have nothing to contribute can you please get the ****, outta my thread

Edit:

Jesus 15?

I find the idea of dating a 15 yr old skeevy and I just turned 18

Are you literally on crack? Or are you Astner's butt-buddy?

You're at full liberty to make a similar thread about men. There's no discrimination here.

No, he's simply right.

See, I disagree with that. I think regardless of whether these women chose to do it, there can be a discussion on the societal ramifications of these kinds of pictures, and the manner in which they are shared and enjoyed.

Additionally your assumption that these have all been made with consent is also faulty. Obviously a lot of these are from videos, that have been put in gif form, you have no idea in what manner the creators and/or women in them wanted their work to be shared.

You are also making toothless threats, you have no authority to stop anyone from posting here, in particular in a discussion regarding the validity of this thread.

😆

There is nothing misogynistic or sexist or even objectifying about admiring the female form, nor is there anything misogynistic about a thread dedicated to that purpose.

That is exactly the opinion I disagree with. I find a thread like this to be furthering misogynist thought patterns as well as being degrading to women generally.

So beautiful adult law-abiding women aren't allowed to do as they please because less endowed women might be offended?

That is a complete misrepresentation of what I said. All these people are allowed to do what they did, there's nothing illegal going on here (well, except for the people that repost copyrighted material, that is illegal). My qualm is not one of legality, but of morality, and it has nothing to do with any subjective tiers of how attractive you may find a woman (which must be hard for you). I think threads like this, and the mindset behind threads like this, are harmful to all women, regardless of how attractive anyone may find them, and I also think they are harmful to men.

I don't think they should be illegal, I think people should find such objectification inappropriate, and voice that opinion when coming across it.

Well let's look up the definition of sexist.

"unfair treatment of people because of their sex"

How does this thread do that? There is exactly nothing stopping a straight woman or gay man from making a thread titled "The Official PnB (Pecs and bulges) Thread". That someone hasn't done so means nothing.

So it's not sexist.

Misogynistic?

Misogyny is defined as "the hatred of women", and a thread dedicated to the female form isn't inherently about that.

So it's not misogynistic.

Objectifying?

The definition of "objectifying" means "to treat as an object".

Whether or not this thread is doing that is arguable because what actually constitutes "objectification" is very vague. I assume you believe this thread is an example of "sexual objectification". But before we can really discuss this, I have to ask; what qualifies as sexual objectification to you?

Is it the concept of physical attractiveness itself? Is acknowledging any physically attractive feature on a woman objectification. Not just boob or butt, but anything someone might find attractive?

Where do you draw the line Bardock?

This is a lot of fluff with little substance. You're tossing out buzz words without any justification for why you think that way.

Give an in-depth explanation for your views or stop posting. Because I'm getting tired of reading the same thing over and over again Bardock.

So what's your arguament?

That this thread is degrading to women?

Explain to me how?

That it sets an impossible standard for women to live up to?

Everything in life does that for us. Life is a constant game of betterment.

That these were made without the women's consent?

The OC was made with the consent of the women. I dunno there's something about these that just doesn't scream "I didn't wanna do this"
Also its laughable how you keep on jumping from arguament to arguament trying to find one that sticks

Oh and that wasn't a "toothless threat", that was me being polite after three goddamn pages off you derailing this thread

The key word here being "adult"

When I talk about sexism and misogyny I do not talk about a one line dictionary definition of sexism, but a sociological concept.

You are however treating women unfairly, due to the constant and ubiquitous objectification of women in society. To arrive at the conclusion that a thread about men would be equal you have to tune out a massive amount of real life difference in how men and women are treated (that is easy to do, but it is still a mistake).

This thread is a product of the devaluing of women as human beings, as such I view it as misogynist. It most definitely treats women (and even more so, particular body parts of women) as objects of sexual gratification, that is the whole premise. Whether or not we have to discuss a line, it would be so far crossed by this thread that it is silly. "Lets look at the butt cheeks of women, disregarding their personhood, to get off sexually...I can't tell for sure, but I think it's in an objectification grey zone"

You don't have any educational merits in terms of psychology, don't pretend that you know anything of the mental health of people let alone what should and shouldn't be legal.

I reject your premise that one has to have an academic or educational background in a subject to discuss it with knowledge. However, I made no claims as to anything psychological, so I also don't know what your accusation refers to at all.

If women wanna show there asses off, that is their decision, no one is making them take their clothes off and post pictures of themselves.

Bank on that

On with the T&A!

To fck what Bardock thinks! XD

Well, that is not always true, there are of course socio-economic or worse violent ways in which women are pressured to do so.

But that was not my initial point at all. I granted the assumption that all original work was done with consent. My gripe is with the societal standards and whether we should hold ourselves to different moral codes than what this thread implies.
