I loved Waterworld. Except for the mushy ending, but other than that: a great watery Mad Max.

Waterworld is extremely underrated. I love it. Glad to meet another rare Waterworld fan.

Don't love WW, but it doesn't deserve the hate it got. Watched it again about a month ago; it's still an enjoyable action/adventure flick.

Quan is just butthurt Mad Max got more praise than STID.

Praise from anyone else doesn't matter to me. Into Darkness is one of my favorite films of all time. No one else has ever said that on this site.

No one else has said that because they have taste.

Seriously though, you guys should stop your Quan obsession, he has said everything he needed to say about this film already.

Really? Wasn't it you who complained about the unoriginaity of SW:TFA? ST:ID is about as bad as it gets when it comes to unoriginality and copying stuff from old ST stuff.

It was enjoyable but there was a lot of unnecessary close up shots of Costner that made the movie feel longer & less dramatic than it was.

Plus his wind-powered katamarang was a pretty slow vehicle & kinda disappointed most of the action scenes it was involved in.

Then The Postman....3 hours long. Groan...

Mad Max and Revenant lead Oscar nominations.

Good one!

Well I did see something trending about George Miller saying he wouldn't direct another Mad Max film because they take so long. Hm.. that's a shame. : (

Was a misquote, Miller is open to directing more MM films:

Yep, yep. 😎

While responding to the news of his best director nomination and the film’s nod for best picture — among ten other nominations — Mad Max: Fury Road‘s George Miller clarified that he would be interested in making another film in the post-apocalyptic series. He just wants to wait a while before pursuing the Road Warrior again.

Hoping for another anti climactic clash with the main villain. Such a lemming.

If every movie ended with the hero and villain clashing 1v1, it would be lame, quano. I know you love your cookie-cutter predictable mindless action, but some people need more. Respect that.

Easily taking out the villain relentlessly pursuing you is stupid. 😂

Quite.

George Miller was misquoted

Another Mad Max film may not be the next thing George Miller works on, but he does want to return to his iconic franchise, despite reports to the contrary.

Miller, 70 – who co-wrote, directed and produced last summer's Fury Road, the series' fourth installment – said he was recently misquoted on the question of whether he would make more Max movies.

"That was a completely garbled interview," he told The Wrap. "I was in New York and it was so noisy and the journalist was asking me questions on a red carpet at the National Board of Review.

"She completely got the wrong fragments of information that were just not true. I said no, [another Mad Max movie] will not be next, and she took that to mean I never wanted to make another Mad Max."

Seeing as Fury Road did quite well at the BO and has 10 Oscar nominations, I'm betting there will be another MM.

Easily? 😕 Watch the movie again. Immortan Joe was hard to get to and kill, with all his armour and protection.
