Mike Brown isn't the only person the Police have shot in iffy circumstances. Out here in the San Francisco a guy got shot and killed for jumping a turnstyle at a BART station and running (assumed to be committing a violent crime [purse snatching] but was just a fare jumper), a kid in San Jose was killed while playing with an Airsoft gun which was mistaken for a real gun by police, a man in Palo Alto was shot and killed in the driveway of his home in front of his wife because his seatbelt buckle was mistaken for a knife, and a man in Texas was also shot over a toy gun in a Walmart. All of those deaths (and more) could have been avoided if lethal force wasn't option #1.

Doesn't require the President, actually. It can be handled at the local government level or state level. It's a matter of funding and legislation.I'm really surprised it hasn't been presented as a ballot initiative in more states.
Money and business are the anti-christ.

Those are terrible.I believe the police need training that isn't deadly force first.
I also believe that cops should always be wearing cameras now.
I think Cops should wear cameras, have cameras on their vehicles that provide a 360 degree view of the vehicle's position, and should always be in pairs. A cop shouldn't be pursuing a possible violent suspect alone, but also shouldn't be in a scenario with an unarmed suspect where a fight ensues and the officer, being alone, fears he'll be overwhelmed and the suspect will get his weapon so he/she kills the suspect first.
On the flipside, however, and in particular with this Mike Brown situation, I don't think a person should be engaging in ghetto bullshit. If in fact Officer Wilson did roll up on Mike and his friend for the traffic violation (walking in the middle of the street is dumb as well) and then went on his way before receiving the APB on robbery suspects fitting Mike and his friend's description and coming about, this scenario was caused by Mike being a dumb ass and deciding to be a dick over some cigars he couldn't afford and battering a convenience store clerk, thus creating a scenario where his actions can be perceived as hostile and/or dangerous. That isn't racial profiling, it's Mike being a dumb **** and getting the Cops called on him for a violent act. It seems to me that Mike was caught up in the domino effect of from his Col. Stinkmeaner moment in the convenience store, though I don't think the final outcome needed to be his death. He should be facing a fine and possible jail time, but alive.
Now, the aftermath, though, with the protesters, looters, Cops putting rifles in unarmed protesters faces, etc., that's a whole different can of worms that's almost at this point completely unrelated to Mike's shooting. The shooting just opened a festering wound regarding general Police Brutality and seemingly unnecessary use of lethal force. We're getting almost daily instances of Police malfeasance from that area now.

Good. Glad to see the Wilson is getting financial help to get out of that shit hole.
Wilson will definitely NOT be indicted at the grand jury hearing.
I think he should probably lose his job or at least suffer a 6 month paid suspension for his gross misconduct (firing warning shots and not killing Brown*, sooner) but he did not **** up enough to warrant serving jail time.
Also, I think they are being savages, too. It has nothing to do with race (read the outrage of the label "savages"😉. It is not politically correct to refer to black people as "savages" no matter their actions because of the history of black people in America. **** that political correctness. If they are acting like savages, they are savages. I'd also like to point out, again, that white people participated in the savagery, too. The lot of them, savages.
*I think less lethal choices should have been used much earlier, too, but killing Brown when he started to attack Wilson is definitely within protocol and would have been an expected outcome.
Using lethal force in a situation which doesn't call for it (Brown was not armed) is one of the worst offenses a police officer can commit.
If he was in California he'd absolutely be getting charged with criminal negligence. He's not in California so he probably won't, though he should, but at the very least he should be fired.

If the officer felt his life was endanger and he truly did have the crap beat out of him, it would be possible.
