Obama attends church very rarely, as claimed by members of his congregation (Trinity United Church of Christ). I presume he doesn't go there anymore, especially after the scandal. He most prob used his "Christian" background for political reasons.

IMO, Obama has to be one of the cleanest politicians on the planet with how in in-depth he's been looked into. Other politicians people do some light digging and scandals come pouring. ****ed a secretary, embezzled funds, punched a farm animal etc.
edit: The one thing that should convince you is Trump. He spent a few years and a considerable about of money in trying to prove Obama was a Kenyan-born secret Muslim. Nothing came out that.

The answer is because atheism and agnosticism are to me the default, it doesn't require anything of you but a lack of belief or a doubt. Being a Muslim on the other hand is an affirmative thing, you need to believe in dogma, you need to follow rules, and Obama does not do any of those things.
In fact he does the opposite, he affirms his belief in Christianity. It's one thing to fake a Religious belief when you have none, it's another thing to fake a Religious belief when you actively actually have a different Religious belief.

Obama has killed Muslims of both sects across the Middle East, and him belonging to either sect doesn't make sense. If he follows Shia, he should be much more aggressive in his attacks on ISIS, instead of putzing around like he is now, and if he were Sunni, he would have been a lot less tolerant of Iran.

But going back to Obama=Muslim, what do you think of someone like Trump and his vast resources (money, connections) not being able to prove that Obama is a Kenyan-born secret Muslim?
