This is ironic, and extremely hypocritical of you.
I've provided countless statements and on-panel scans, and you've dismissed them. Yet you cling to one statement from Surfer as the basis of your entire argument.
This nobel winner right here...........
Big words from someone who just admitted he doesn't think. Oh, I'm sorry, am I taking your words too literally?
What kind of power do you test by matching strength? And it was a test, not one where Loki measured Surfer's power to be equal of his own.
You realize power includes strength in it? As well as other abilities.
In the scans Loki states he's testing Surfer's power. When Loki is shocked Surfer can match his "godly force" Surfer even replies "my power is that of the endless cosmos"

Are you going to ignore this too? Power was referred to multiple times in the fight.
So?
I gave you a direct quote from Loki saying Surfer matched his power, and you dismiss it yet again.
Then you probably haven't read much comics. Although I don't know "test" of power means you match other in a strength lock.
- There were large energy blasts going back and forth
- Loki states it's a test of power on panel.
- Surfer states he's using his cosmic power on panel.
- There is huge amounts of energy and lightning surrounding them.
- Power includes strength, as well as energy and other abilities.
It's obvious to everyone this is a test of power; not purely strength.
Again it's funny how your argument clings onto one statement from Surfer, yet you dismiss the dozens of other statements that go against your argument. How hypocritical of you.
Circular reasoning FTW. C'mon you can do worse than this.
That wasn't circular reasoning, that was a question. This is just another example of you avoiding a question.
Stop avoiding it, and answer my question:
Why would Loki (who's not known for his strength) test Surfer (who's not known for his strength) in a strength contest?
Can you answer this question? Or are you afraid to?
Now who is starting shit talking?
Here you go yet again dismissing on-panel statements. I provide a scan of Loki stating Surfer matched Loki's power and you ignore it.
Yeah, Loki used "my force" when he punched Surfer too. Force=strength if you don't know and when you match someone in strength.
Yeah...and they were also zapping each other too, and had huge amounts of energy and lightning swirling around them... You're telling me this was pure strength?
Loki also stated he was testing Surfer's power, and Surfer stated he was using his cosmic power during the test...
In fact, when Loki was looking for a champion to fight Thor, he stumbles upon Surfer and commented on his power.

Who said I am ignoring that surfer was weakened? I am just laughing at your strawman argument that Surfer was exactly at full power and you're flat out ignoring surfer's own statement.
I said Surfer was extremely weakened when he got Loki's amp, and that they offset each other to a certain extent.
You on the other hand, think Loki's amp literally made Surfer the most powerful he's ever been in his entire career up until that point.
Keep repeating those. Maybe someone would believe you.
I don't have to convince anyone. You're doing a good enough job yourself. All people have to do is watch you to know how you "operate"
Like flat out ignoring "I'm more powerful than ever" from surfer himself?
How am I ignoring it?
My take on that statement is: Loki gave Surfer an amp, and Surfer feels much more powerful than before.
So much e-rage. Why don't we use a mod ruling on this? And stop stirring shit. I'm not going to fall in that trap. Untill that time? Surfer's statement alone shits on your whole argument.
Sure, let's get two mod rulings actually.
First what does this sentence mean:
"Never before have I felt so powerful -- so strangely invincible. It is as if it has been decreed I cannot fail"
My take: Loki gave Surfer an amp, and Surfer feels much more powerful, and confident he can beat Thor.
Your take: Loki gave Surfer an amp, and Surfer was literally the most powerful he's ever been in his entire career up until that point.
Which sounds more reasonable based off of an off-hand statement in the middle of battle?
The second mod ruling should be whether or not Surfer was depowered during that era and by how much? I can provide all the references to his depowerment.
