The first Avengers was a first of its kind team up movie. Multiple films in the same universe and then having an ensemble movie was not going to be matched again to that effect.

I guess, but super hero fatigue was constantly being mentioned before BVS even came out. And many people I know are already turned off by Marvel movies. My roommate for example thinks the ones I like (Avengers, GOTG, etc...) are overrated.

Yep. BVS didn't flop and Warcraft lost money for the studio. Which is the definition of flop. You have a history of being wrong. SS is listed under 175 production budget.

no i'm referring to those throwing tantrums about negative reviews. To motion that RT be ban would be to assume the reviews aren't correct (even though its subjective). To determine that, even on a personal level, one would have to SEE the movie first. Since it hasn't been shown to the vast majority yet, how can someone ***** about reviews being wrong?? makes no sense.

I think the reason WB hasn't won over critics for its DC films yet is 1) the comparisons to Marvel which they can't compete with, and 2) they haven't given a GREAT movie yet to win everybody over. Something like IM1 is what they needed to kick this all off with.

AOU simply wasn't anywhere near as good as A1.
Still JL will struggle to hit a Billion. Every Avengers movie will continue to make massively more than that.
