Well you called it:

It's pretty obvious and predictable the moves they're making over and over again.
Makes people like Golgo gloat over DVD Blu-ray sales like if it shows that the movie was liked after all. When in fact they are just marketing gimmicks to make people buy the disc.

Wow, deleted scenes. I guess WB is the only studio that does that. 😂

Criminal. Meh.

I haven't bought either pile of shit film from their combined universe. It is obvious they are trying to milk every last dollar out of their shitty products.

Looks like SS is critic proof according to Umberto. SS has a wopping 32% First choice.

The point is why not just release better versions of the movie in the theater. Without excluding things just to later sell Blu-rays.

I'd imagine it's more the studio controlling the theatrical cut (because they obviously know best), then not caring as much about the home release, thereby allowing director's cuts and the like.

How do you know they cut those out just for the sales of DVD/Blue ray? Didn't the higher ups at WB cut the extended version for run time? The theatrical version was pretty long in itself.

Having extended cuts, deleted scenes isn't anything new.

Same thing happened to Watchmen, BTW. Watchmen had an extended cut.

FC for females is surprisingly pretty big. Very happy to hear. Makes the Harley Quinn and BOP movie more than likely to happen.

Golgo is really panic stricken. The critics are once again destroying another DC film. Nolan isn't there to save them anymore.

I'll be seeing this tonight. I’m hoping I’ll enjoy it but I’m doubtful.

Let us know what you think, please.

Will do.

Why 700? If budget was 175, it doesn't need 700 to break even.

I swear, you guys are hypocrites. If Warcraft's budget was 168 and ONLY made 433 M WW (Which you guys claimed for the LONGEST time that it made it's money back), then why does SS need to make 700? Doesn't make sense.

And don't bring up marketing costs, because that number is hard to pin down with accounting tricks.

Whoa, calm down. People have posted 2 different articles saying that's the break even point. Marketing a kind of a big cost. And this has certainly been marketed wayyyy more than Warcraft.

Besides what you worried about? After all you always said this is guaranteed to gross over 700mill.

LOL! Who said I was worried? If it bombs, it bombs. But I just posted 2 articles on the production budget being 175. Variety and LA Times. It's the same thing in the Warcraft thread. I spent pages trying to tell you guys that it would bomb/lose money and I was right.

BTW, BOmojo is predicting 145 OW for SS.

Suicide Squad (4,255 theaters) - $145 M
Jason Bourne (4,040 theaters) - $27.8 M
Bad Moms (3,215 theaters) - $13.8 M
Star Trek Beyond (3,263 theaters) - $12.1 M
The Secret Life of Pets (3,413 theaters) - $10.6 M
Nine Lives (2,264 theaters) - $6.9 M
Ice Age: Collision Course (2,738 theaters) - $5.8 M
Lights Out (2,581 theaters) - $5.6 M
Nerve (2,538 theaters) - $4.9 M
Ghostbusters (2,545 theaters) - $4.9 M

But those articles didn't mention what it needs to break even.

I'm just going by the articles posted plus previous rumours. Plus knowing how WB overspend.

Golgo is terrified.

😂

it cracks me up how people with no personal stake in a movie are so obsessed with the financials of said movie.
