300 is locked. 400 is not, but it's not out of reach.
Wow, SS had an impressive hold this weekend. 12 million for second place. It will cross 300 easily.
Worldwide total so far is 636 million. Expected to land around 710-720 M WW. Insane numbers without China.
#SuicideSquad intl gross climbs to sturdy $353.1M lifting global gross to $636M. Big $730M final possible w/ no China release.

If they can get the critics on their side in the sequel it should make even more bank.
What does this even mean?
Critics should say a movie is good or decent regardless if its a bad movie?
So that is what "getting on their side" means? This is what you want, instead of a movie that makes money because its a quality film? 😬

I think what jugg means is that if the sequel gets better critical acclaim it will probably help sway people into paying to see the movie and therefore will help it make more money. There could be some truth to it. I'm not paying high theater prices for this film because I don't want to support studio interference. (Well, that and I could just tell that with so many characters a film like this would be very difficult to make work well). I don't just get a boner from seeing these characters on the screen, so I actually want a well-crafted film. That is what's important to me, a (very) casual fan of comicbook films.

But it made money so it has to be a good movie, right?
