It would be about the same internationally. But domestic & worldwide DP would still be like 70-80million more.

Yes, and and the DOM dip is better so far.

Doesn't seem to have the legs of GOTG or DP to me.

But If it gets to $700mill WW, that will be damn impressive however you cut it. But I still have doubt it will get there. Another 125mill is a lot at this point. Especially for these front loaded movies.

If this film gets to 700 million that's pretty impressive. And would make it a higher grosser than Guardians without China.

Yea, if this garbage movie makes 700mil I'll be impressed.

As impressed as a transformers movie

300 is locked. 400 is not, but it's not out of reach.

lmao, still the film has to make $750 million plus to break even hahahahahahahahahhaha

also WB just leaked the Suicide Squad 2 poster....

hahaha

No, it doesn't. 😂

Ayer declares 600 M WW.

David Ayer þ@DavidAyerMovies
@SuicideSquadWB 600 million worldwide! Thank you to everyone for making this a success! @WarnerBrosEnt

Yeah, and he's thanked audiences for making the movie a success. So it's obviously made profit Lol

Wow, SS had an impressive hold this weekend. 12 million for second place. It will cross 300 easily.

Worldwide total so far is 636 million. Expected to land around 710-720 M WW. Insane numbers without China.

#SuicideSquad intl gross climbs to sturdy $353.1M lifting global gross to $636M. Big $730M final possible w/ no China release.

Hopefully, they use all this money to make a better movie.

If they can get the critics on their side in the sequel it should make even more bank.

Just think if it had China. Probably could have made around 800 M WW.

What does this even mean?
Critics should say a movie is good or decent regardless if its a bad movie?
So that is what "getting on their side" means? This is what you want, instead of a movie that makes money because its a quality film? 😬

I think what jugg means is that if the sequel gets better critical acclaim it will probably help sway people into paying to see the movie and therefore will help it make more money. There could be some truth to it. I'm not paying high theater prices for this film because I don't want to support studio interference. (Well, that and I could just tell that with so many characters a film like this would be very difficult to make work well). I don't just get a boner from seeing these characters on the screen, so I actually want a well-crafted film. That is what's important to me, a (very) casual fan of comicbook films.

I thought my statement was obvious but you got it.

But it made money so it has to be a good movie, right?
