Your perception isn't reality. Your personal preferences are also pretty common. Marvel is more successful while they tend to focus on diversity more so than DC who tend to focus on the big three.

Spiderman is vastly more successful than Batman and Superman. That being said the Hulk and Thor are more powerful and better characters IMO than boring ass Superman.

Other DC characters are getting more popular like Flash,Green Arrow and Harley Quinn.

DC is making good money and they are putting out crap. Hopefully they can put out something good.

They're doing alot better on TV these days then with the movies.

DCEU is hopefully not going to be crap forever.
