Wouldn't be surprised if they do the same thing for Wonder Woman.

WB does extended cuts all the time. They did the same for LOTR, Harry Potter, Hobbit, MOS, etc... Hardly anything new.

I think it was Cameron who said that version of Alien was his original intention, nothing else and he was forced to change some bits, extend scenes and have it called "directors cut" for moneieees.

I'm interested in a lot of the deleted scenes we didn't get to see in the theater.

I'd rather eat a sack of feces than watch the 15 minutes of Suckerpunch I Sat through at work. It was a cluster**** lol

Comparing the theatre to TV is obvious. Even if I havent seen the original release, I know when the TV cuts out scenes of **** and gore and just general long takes shortened among other things.

DVD extended cuts make no sense to me. Deleted scenes always show up in extras and its not as if theres any hindrance for time in the theatre.

An easter egg inserted in, maybe, but you buy the DVD for the cinematic experience, not some extended version. It only makes going to the cinema more valuable, which might be the intention.

Gross!

Having deleted scenes, commentary by the director, bloopers, etc are the norm when a blueray is relesed. But the way its advertised is that the "insert movie" blueray will come out in so and so date.
The way the DCU has been doing things is not like this. They advertise "extended cuts", "Directors cuts", "extra footage", etc as the head line. It isnt just advertised as a normal blueray release with standard extras.
Just like Suicide Squad was heavily advertised to be a Batman, Joker, Harley movie.
They know what they are doing and has become an on going gimmick to sell bluerays with WB/DC.
With the idea of "If you didnt like the theatrical cut, then youll like this version". When they turn out to be only very slight improved to the theatrical version. Not enough to make sup par movies good.

LOL! Not this again.

Why are they doing this? Do they want to alienate us further?

Batman vs Superman was shit btw.

BVS was #1 on DVD/Blue Ray charts for several weeks straight. Looks like WB's strategy is working.

But theyre going to get found out.

lol! Nobody cares. Once SS gets released, it'll have a similar performance. Harley's in it, remember?

WB/DC should put all their efforts into making quality well made movies instead of marketing gimmicks, false advertising, and quick money schemes. tbh 😬

Nobody cares what you think, dude. SS made a ton of profit, and that's because a lot of people enjoyed it. Go cry somewhere else, dude.

I said cry, not laugh! 😠

BTW, SS stands at 739 WW. 750 is reachable. 👆

They also need to stop hopping in and doing quick edits before the film is released, For these comic book adaptations.

BVS was the only one that was poor editing, IMO.

Still think this sums it up best, far as like the Joker, though I did like the movie otherwise.
