It's not reached $800mill yet, so will probably not even reach $850mill at this point given the Jungle Book is out tomorrow. Personally I can't imagine anyone at WB is actually celebrating this film's success.

People are saying 900 is a longshot. I think 850 is doable.

So people agree a billion won't occur. How pathetic. DC is doing it all wrong. Two icons. Fail.

Hahah, this is cool.

Avengers Friends vid was done before it and was vastly superior.

It's a disappointment, but not a failure. No movie that does 800 plus is a failure.
Yea, I agree, it's just a huge disappointment.

On more than a couple of levels, definitely.

Sad that some people are actually glad the movie was bad, though.

Good stuff. They're about equal to me, but Avengers one doesn't have the Joker hitting the guy on the face to sync in with the song. 😉

I do feel pretty positive for the film. Maybe this is some otherworldly threat that's hit Chicago and no Superman around, so this squad of expendables gets sent in...

The talk of reshoots is a little concerning, so close to opening day (less than four months away.) Reshoots are common in most films like this, but much earlier in post production. The timing is fishy, what with Deadpool being a critically loved monster smash two months ago - with all the humour mixed with gore perfectly balanced - and Batman v. Superman being critically decimated as a humourless slog and underperforming at the box office.

Coincidence?...I think not.

Not glad it was bad but I unlike you saw it coming. Snyder. He's shit. In Russos I trust.

Even before we all saw it, it was clear that it was a morally bankrupt attempt of rushing out justice league, as opposed to having more solo Supes films and stuff building up to that. You should be glad it was bad/has done bad, so our message of disappointment could be sent.

As if the message ever mattered to WB. The movie still made a ton of money, or at least enough that WB is happy to let Snyder move forward.

The movie should have been better, but anyone being pleased it wasn't, just... It doesn't make sense to me.

There are plenty of movies that I wish were better, but I'm never going to turn around and wish they were shit.
