the real Christians who obey the word of Christ in the Bible... 🙂

There are none as Jesus said if there was, they could do even better than he did.

All Christians are hypocrites from what I can see.

Look at your divorce stats. At least 60% of Christians have divorced and are living in sin.

the way i see it, it is YOU who is condemning other people, and not God... and if ALL Christians are hypocrites in your eyes, then what's the point about you being a "Gnostic Christian"? you are included in the hypocrisy? ha! really not surprised about that...

stop nitpicking verses or quotes from the Bible that you don't really understand... and trust me, you're just humiliating yourself, dude...

I am not a Christian. I am a Gnostic Christian, and when you know the difference, you will not call yourself a Christian. You will have found a more moral God than the genocidal son murderer you follow.

Religion is supposed to be about morals and not about what is written in your myths.

Seems that you prefer to be able to quote than think.

Your reading of christian myths portrays them as immoral and you criticize people who read them as moral tales. If religion is about morality why would they seek the immoral interpretation of their myths? Obviously if you want them as teaching tools you use them for moral purposes, anything else would be spending too much time overinterpretating and besides the point when it comes to doctrine.

I guess that your take makes sense for people who are overly literal about their approach to religion, but it's not the kind of argument that will appeal to their sensibilities. I genuinely wonder who is meant to be the target audience of your analysis.

Literalists of all stripes. They are what brought us the Dark Ages, Inquisition and Jihads that we ar4e presently enjoying.

For the evils of religion to grow, read any scripture literally.

Any and all harmless beliefs are allowed by Gnostic Christians. We know that any myth can be internalized for good results and as esoteric ecumenists, we enjoy knowledge of all the myths that man has created about Gods.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oR02ciandvg&feature=BFa&list=PLCBF574D

When there is a victim is when that view changes. Then you see why Christianity annihilated Gnostic Christianity. We do not let the evils of forced literalism go unopposed. To a tyrant like Constantine, we were poison. One of his first commands to his new Church was to kill off the free thinkers and of course, his new tool, his Church, did as bid. It was quite a ride for free thought for the next 1,000 years.

How can a Gnostic Christian, --- and any other free thinking moral person, --- not judge other's morals when seeing someone hurt other because of the same Church's teachings today?

Can you ignore such things if you have decent morals? Impossible. Especially with Islam pulling the same murderous, freedom stifling ****.

We must discriminate and judge constantly. Every law is a compulsion on all of us to judge.

It is my view that all right wing literalists and fundamentals hurt all of us who are moral religionists, --- as well as those who do not believe. Literalists hurt their parent religions --- and everyone else, be he a believer or not. Literalists and the right wing of religions make us all into laughing stocks. Their God of talking animals, genocidal floods and retribution has got to go. So must beliefs in fantasy, miracles and magic. These are all evil.

They also do much harm to their own fellow adherents.

For evil to grow my friend, all good people need do is nothing. Fight literalism when you can. It is your duty to our fellow man.

it's pretty simple to know the difference, and the more a don't like to be one of your group...

anothing thing, the term "Gnostic Christian" is a misnomer... being a Christian means you follow the teachings of Christ and NOT against it... you can call yourself "Gnostic" or whatever but adding the term "Christian" is clearly a mistake...

I like the Jesus I follow as shown in this 2nd link. Your Jesus and his human sacrifice policy is immoral and you are welcome to him all you like. Just do not expect respect from moral people.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oR02ciandvg&feature=BFa&list=PLCBF574D

The thinking shown below is the Gnostic Christian’s goal as taught by Jesus but know that any belief can be internalized to activate your higher mind.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alRNbesfXXw&feature=player_embedded

This method and mind set is how you become I am and brethren to Jesus, in the esoteric sense.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdSVl_HOo8Y

When you can name your God, I am, and mean yourself, you will begin to know the only God you will ever find. Becoming a God is to become more fully human and a brethren to Jesus.

So you have nothing to back up what you say but "no you!"

Good to know.

Cry more about God.

It's no more stupid then what fundamentalist Christians believe.

Do you follow this one who shows us how to save ourselves or do you follow the one who is the scapegoat whipping boy that you will ride into heaven?

Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Both are fiction, but I see "Greatest I am's" point to be a little more logical.

That is the beauty of Gnostic Christianity.

It uses logic and reason and nothing supernatural in it's theology.

In fact, we reject the supernatural because if there was a supernatural component to God, we would have to kill God just as scriptures say we should as we would see that God as a magical which and scriptures say not to let those live.

We do believe in an unseen world but is in natural and not supernatural.

This science is finding it.

why? i don't believe in a "faith alone, no good works needed" doctrine... it's stupid... Christians work out their own salvation, and not sitting back and enjoying "the ride"... we follow the Jesus in the Bible and do good works to all people...

Well, if we didn't put them in the same boat then one would be obviously smarter than the other, so to clarify they are just fiction seems putting too much emphasis into it.

It's just my opinion. After all they believe a man died on the cross and rose from the dead. That doesn't happen in real life.

LOL.

Christianity has been the majority religion of the West forever and women and gays are only now starting to ge treated as equal by us ant it is in spite of religion. Thank God for secular law that forces the so called religious to act in a civilized way.

You are really good my friend but your friends are not. You are in a small minority otherwise women would have been equal a long time ago.
