Lol...of course, and the post i made said Superman was stronger but downplaying Thor ft is going a Lil too far imo. Just because one scene happened in one comic doesn't take away from what happened before. The bench pressing ft happened and Thor cracking/busting planets happened as well. Thor could've struggled to push a truck afterwards, doesn't take away from what he did before. Superman could've struggled to lift a ship after his planet benching ft but it still doesn't take away from what happened. If you look at it all, Thor planet cracking ft has more credit via comics than Superman planet benching ft. ABHI states that Thor struggled to push the moon into place. Ok. Celey brings up the dragon... I seen what he was trying to do but he could've up'ed it. The same doctor who measured Superman strength during the bench pressing measured Superman strength when he was fighting H'el and she said he surpassed his power level that he was dishing out during the bench pressing. She said he had more power than what was shown during his planet benching. That power was only enough to shatter a mountain. Does that discredit Superman bench pressing ft? It shouldn't but if we are being as picky as ABHI, then...
No one here is arguing that Thor is stronger than Superman because he isn't but there's no need to lowball a ft to prove the obvious.
Also, lol, whatever Darksaint.
Originally posted by carver9Not IMMEDIATELY AFTER he supposedly had a planetary feat. That's my point. Obviously, Mjolnir was doing something (combined with Thor's strength). Combine that with the fact that Thor hit Gorr hundreds of times. So each hit supplied a small fraction of the total damage.
But Superman has struggled and strained against far less though.

See the problem here is none of that is going to happen. No one is going to lift a planet and in the NEXT scene STRUGGLE or FAIL to lift a truck. I challenge you to find such a situation. It must be a quantifiable feat (like a lifting feat).
Your point would be valid if and only if Mjolnir wasn't magical and couldn't be willed to strike and couldn't be charged (amped) in striking and didn't have any magical energy output when striking.
If it was a normal non magical adamantium hammer then I would disregard the showing against the moon where Thor struggled.

Hundreds of times? Prove it.

That's the thing about high end feats. It's a huge departure from the norm. How do you explain Gorr affecting all 3 Thors with the Annihiblade throughout the arc yet Thor was able to tank an infinitely amped version of it(godbomb) long enough to stop it's purpose(to kill all gods including gods throughout time)? Don't be a dunderhead. You need help.

Not hundreds of times but at least 100 times or close to it.
Thor was hitting Gorr for at least several minutes. Their fight lasted a good deal of time. This is not debateable. Thor was striking hard and fast. On average 1 strike every 2 seconds will net you 100 strikes in a little over 3 minutes.
How much time did the fight last and provide proof?

And stop with the exaggeration (infinitely amped).
Lastly, my argument is Thor used many hits (each hit supplied a small portion).
And Mjolnir can be willed to assist in striking as well as become amped and output magical power. I'm not claiming this was the case but rather it makes the feat questionable and debatable. Thor struggling with the moon SUPPORTS these assumptions.
Again where was it described in narration or depicted in the art that shows amped shots or magical shockwave energy?
Superman bench pressed virtual earth weight for 5 days devoid of sunlight. Same comic he can't break the grip of a reanimated and decaying Kryptonian dragon even after getting some good'ol sun juice. Consequently the dragon died from an oil rig explosion. 🙁
Now do you get it?
The butt hurt from this feat will never go away I swear...
I never thought I'd see the day when KMC turned into Narutoforums and their CALCS stats based on angular sizing of inconsistent artistic illustrations based on dramatic narratives constructed by writers that usually don't have a clue on actual scientific principles or the amount of energy needed to accomplish such feats are now being used to determine what character is better.
Reminds me of DBZ Calcs and the exhausting intellectual exercise some fans go through to prove their character is faster, stronger, etc... mathematically when math was usually the last thing the writer and artist had on their mind when they were coming up with a "cool" feat for their character to perform in service of the story.
IF one wants to start that business simply head to one of the best calculators on energy feats with Endless Mike's blog on the narutoforums. He has calculated many feats
including Thor vs Gor and many Superman feats as well.
For Thor vs Gor he calculates the strike at

Now are we to believe that Superman has literally 11 million TIMES the strength of Thor?
Of course not.
I think Superman is physically stronger than Thor and that Thor's strength is primarily showcased through Mjolnir (anti-force, godblast, etc...) which makes them peers (specifically Post Crisis Superman).
The only numbers that should matter is what is currently being displayed in the poll numbers above. And this is a majority feeling Superman is stronger (17 feel he is stronger, 14 feel he is in an entirely other tier). The degree of how much stronger should be the debate. Why some feel he is in another tier or why some feel he isn't but is still stronger.
Only 4 people think Thor is stronger and that seems to be the primary debate for the past several pages. Why so much focus on the minority opinion? I could even see discussion on why 11 people feel they are equal in strength (which would imply that Thor without Mjolnir is high herald, so with the hammer should put him into another tier) but that's not even being debated.
Focusing on too many outside of comics numbers imo.

Hes only been in Warrior madness once (contrary to peter davids ignorance), and that time he beat pre-nerf Adam Warlock with his bare hands.

We need to be told how strong he is or how fast a character is. Thor has the ability to be ten times stronger.
I was right then, good debate bro.
