That magical book was nowhere near infinite weight. Funny how there are many characters stronger than superman, CM and ultraman on-panel and they are nowhere near having infinite strength and the fact that CM helped lifted the book and ultraman lifted it by himself but fans tend to forget this when asked who is stronger between supes,CM and ultraman. Pre-crisis superman could not lift infinite weight, sun-dipped superman cannot lift infinite weight, All-star superman could not lift infinite weight, but now to we have claims of regular superman, CM and ultraman being able to do it?? Common sense people.
Applying the laws of physics to a magical book, which by definition defies physics, in order to quantify a feat sounds wonky.
The assumption that infinite pages = infinite weight which is normally valid gets thrown out the window when magic is concerned.
The book housing the "multiverse" doesn't mean it weighs as much the multiverse either. The soul gem houses soul-world inside it, yet the gem doesn't weigh as much as a universe though... unless you want to say Warlock has the strongest neck muscles in comics.

This is a comic where Superman combines with Ultraman to transport to a higher reality where they then beat the shit out of Alan Moore. Common sense is thrown out the window.

For once we agree on something.🙂

So why the phuck are people trying so desperately to credit Superman with this "feat"?
He has more than enough feats that establish superior strength.

And soul gem is a doorway to soul world, it doesn't really contains soul world. It is a different dimension.

This was the writer's intentions. Stop acting like this stuff really happened. It didn't. We go off writer's intentions and what is shown and stated in the comic.

Using that it should also have infinite size/volume, so explain why the book clearly isn't infinitely large.
Originally posted by h1a8Then that would mean that superman,CM and ultraman have infinite strength??? Answer this..... What does sundipping, sniffing kyrptonite and magical amp do the the three characters??? They all get stronger...... But wait!!!!! they by you and other fans have infinite strength so it is pointless for them to do those things right????? The only infinite thing about this is infinite BS and wishing. superman is not the strongest herald by the way, strong, but not the strongest. 🙁
