And you have yet to PROVE THAT LONGER EXPOSURE MAKES THEM MORE POWERFUL. This isn't the comics, their powers don't work the same way here. And he wore clothes in his everyday life, it's not like he's part of a nudist colony. Face it, Superman wasn't more powerful than the other Kryptonians. It plays some kind of role but we have no idea what, it's all too vague. We do know, however, that the Sun is what gives them their phyiscal power, the fact that Faora and Nam-Ek were a physical match for him without Earth air, as well as the fact that Superman retains powers in space proves this.
They didn't outperfom him, Faora called him weak before he started getting serious, she was only saved due to Nam-Ek's intervention. In fact, it's quite impressive that Superman held his own against two trained genetically modified Kryptonians. Again, prove that longer exposure actually does something, and explain just what "nourishing" means withing the context of Kryptonian powers.
Are you retarded? Zod directly explains that Superman's weakness on their ship is due to his body rejecting Kryptonian air. Did you miss the scene were Superman was coughing up blood and knocked out? And you call me Carver, hilarious. The scenes where the Kryptonians lose their masks point towards the atmosphere giving them their sensory powers, nothing more.
Did you see the fights on Krypton? Did you seem them killed by normal blast fire? They exhibit NO super speed.. strength or any other powers. Stands to reason of course because they are UNDER A RED SUN. For F's sake. It had NOTHING to do with adapting. Kal could've lived his entire life on Krypton and adapted and still be like a normal human. Him becoming weak had nothing to do with adapting.
We know how his powers work... Jor_El said the exposure has strengthened your muscle... Do you really think he meant... upon his first exposure to the YSR when a baby he received this and then nothing further ever again? you can't be that dumb

He made the claim that it was letting it in and saying ships can't stop YSR.. That could've be further from the truth is my point. There were no super powers displayed though. Only one punch. Others were getting taken out by basic doors and blaster fire. Yet, others on earth... were taking fire like it was nothing and showing all kinds of superpowers. They clearly didn't have what they did on earth. So the ship was blocking some or all of the YSR. Which again doesn't matter to my argument.
My argument is that with SIGNIFICATLY less YSR exposure and NO atmosphere exposure... they were still able to keep up with Kal and in some cases out perform him.

Why would an advanced race like Kryptonians want to keep out something that turns them into superbeings and makes them extremely hard to injure, especially in ships they use to jet around the galaxy in?
That MoS comic clearly shows that they started to power-up just by being in the Sol system and they had planned to colonize Earth.

I never said the ships did or didn't... What I am disputing in his claim that he's 100% certain YSR made it through the ships AND that ships can't keep out YSR... Those are the only things I'm talking about.

You are implying it and being rather aggressive about it. But whatever.
We have that scan of the official film comic and it's clear their ships do not block out YSR (or have the capability to not block) with that Kryptonian punching in metal. So there really is nothing to argue.

What is wrong with you? What the f*ck do Krypton fights have to do with this? They had no powers on Krypton because they were under a red sun, that's not the case here. Superman is the only one who had a violent reaction to the air on the ship and Zod makes it CLEAR that it is because his body was rejecting it. Are you acting retarded on purpose?
It is very likely that there is an upper limit to how much sun light their bodies can absorb and process, this is backed by the feats Zod, Faora, and Nam-Ek performed with just a day of absorbing sun light. There is no proof Superman's powers grow with longer exposure. Come back when you have some evidence instead of jabbering about red suns and Krypton.

You're the clown that said Clark was only weakened on the ship because he wasn't used to Krypton's environment. Which is totally false. His weakness wasn't because he didn't adapt. he could've been on krypton and exposed to their atmosphere for DECADES.. EONS.. and still been weak as a feeb. Him being weak had nothing to do with adapting and all to do with Krypton's environment not allowing kryptonians to have super powers.
Come back to me when you learn common sense and logic. Comics tells us that is the case. Jor- El tells us that is the case. I don't need to prove a negative. We know exposure to the YSR has positive effects. We know in comics superman gets stronger with longer exposure. YOU need to prove it doesn't work that way in the movies. There isn't ONE line in the movie that says longer exposure doesn't help. So unless YOU have proof, absence of proof isn't proof for your argument.
The Kryptonian environment was essentially poisonous to Kal until he got used to it again since he spent 99.9% of this life on Earth.
Or as the film clearly put it:
Clark Kent: I...feel strange. Weak.
[Kal collapses to the ground and starts spitting up blood]
Lois Lane: What's happening to him?
General Zod: He's rejecting our ships atmospherics.
Lois Lane: Clark...
General Zod: You've spent a lifetime adapting to earth's ecology but you never adapted to ours.
[Lois kneels beside Clark, looking concerned]
Lois Lane: Help him!
General Zod: I can't. Whatever's happening to him has to run its course.
[Clark looks visibly weaker as he lies on the ground]

No, you dipshit. It's 100% true and supported by the film. Zod freaking says it, you'd have be as retarded as Quan to miss something this obvious. He's body couldn't handle the air because his system had never adapted to it, and now that it was used to the much more nourishing Earth air it was basically poisoning him. This is fact, it's shown when Superman starts COUGHING UP BLOOD AND COLLAPSES, and Zod explains it.
Holy shit, you are a moron. THIS. ISN'T. THE. COMICS. This is a movie, and Superman's powers work differently here. You say that longer exposure makes him more powerful, then prove it, the burden of proof is on you. The movie points in the opposite direction, because Zod & co were just as strong as Superman with barely any exposure.

No, because there is no yellow Sun there. How can you be this retarded?

You are without a doubt one of the dumbest people on this forum. I mean literally that dumb. Do you think superman can fly to sun? he never showed that he could.. never flew close to that far... This isn't comics (where he's done that for half a century) so I guess he can't then huh? Just because everything wasn't spelled out for you doesn't mean they don't apply . Should I name all the things in the movie that come from comics... I mean literally everything we learn about him comes from comics... Yet, somehow, comics aren't valid, like at all LOL. The idiocy of such a line of thought is mindboggling. Ohh well I know most everything mentioned about superman comes from and is based on the comics.. but comics don't count LOL.

Um where did they out perform him?
He beat Zod both times they fought.
He beat Faora to the point of sensory overload, and took on Namek and her at the same time..
He took the world engine out as well as the genesis chamber ship.

he was TEMPORALY KO'd by Nam.. He was lying on the ground helpless and out briefly. That's outperforming him. Faora literally called him weak as she was treating him like a weak feeb. Zod with significantly less exposure was able to control his powers more and adapt to them quicker. That's another example of outperforming them.
So Zod didn't adapt to his powers faster with less exposure.. he certainly did... You need to watch the movie
Faora called him weak and she was overpowering him and treating him like a weak feeb. That is again with less exposure. We call that outperforming
Nam KO'd him.. Again that's outperforming him.
Did you even watch the movie with your eyes open or nah?
Actually he didn't.. She had ZERO lasting damage at all... The only person that was treated like a feeb was superman in DIRECT one v one combat. She treated him like a feeb. Him hitting her from the side when she wasn't even engaging him was impressive to you? Maybe it's not watching the movie that is the issue... it's comprehension of what you're watching.
Anyhow, if you watch the scene, after the diner where Faora used her superior skills (Kal never having been in a fight before and her being a gene-bred warrior) to kick his ass around, he gets angry and gets the upper hand by flying and slamming her through objects, but Nam-Ek jumps in and saves Faora while Kal is focused on her.
