He didn't hold onto a bus. He pushed against a bus being rammed sideways down the street by a modified semi truck strong enough to push a 12 ton bus without slowing down. He stopped nearly 30 tons pushing against his back and Lizard overpowered Spidey every single time they fought.

You really think ripping out a human spine is harder than stopping 2 of the biggest non-military wheeled vehicles going down the street at 30mph?

I made a mistake. The truck he's driving is the super tow truck designed to move 18 wheelers and it's got an armored truck on the back, so add another 5-10 tons. Bane broke Batman's spine with a knee drop, yet you believe it takes more force to rip a spine out than some of Spidey's strength feats, which Lizard outmuscled him meaning he'd be able to do them and probably with more ease as well.

You can only take devil's advocate so far, and always saying "well this and maybe that" doesn't work when you yourself only talk in maybes and what if's. You don't ever put up any definitive evidence or proof.
