Not really, no.

So they should stay that way.

Or you want to tell me that black Heimdall makes sense? 🙂

Or black Shocker a.k.a. Herman Schultz...?

Why doesn't black Heimdall make sense actually?

A black person with the surname Schultz wouldn't really shock me, especially in the US.

Gologo is using these imaginary inflated numbers, him and the boxofficetheory nerds pull out their asses so they can say Spiderman HC was a failure when it ends up making 700-900 million at the box office.

I'm actually curious where how he arrived at 2.7bil, considering the numbers for previous SM and IM films.

If it's to over inflate and then just to shit on SM later, that would be lame.

Funny coming from you. You can never join the club!

Tracking info. I've stated the reasons why I think it will do over 2 billion. If I'm wrong, I'll leave this site forever. Bank on it.

Okay then.

Seems a bit odd. I mean, if you want to leave KMC, leave. But leaving over an incorrect prediction just seems weird.

That's how much I support my prediction. I think HC BO performance will surprise a lot of people. Most people are predicting less than a billion, but that's still a good number.

Just weird Zack.

Making a billion will be huge for the film.

No doubt. However, I think it will do a lot more. Call me crazy if you want, but that's the way I see it. Inhuman is crazy if he thinks this will do below 800 M. LMAO.

Holy crap. Adjusted for inflation, SM 1 did over 600 M domestic. And that is without 3-D! 1B domestic headed our way?

Do you guys make money bets on how much films rake in at the box office?

If not, who the fuck cares? Why is it so interesting...?

Oh, i guess because the film itself is so dull you have to find something interesting about it...

I guess I just answered my own question. 🙄

That's what I was telling you about SM1! Not sure why you thought SM2 did better.

But you've not answered why we should just ignore the TASM series when making these BO predictions.

Yeah, that was my bad. This is directly linked to MCU. Don't justify your opinion by using TASM. Each movie is its own entity, remember? Different actors, different universe, etc...

Ramai's SM was its own entity as well. But sure I suppose it indicates "potential".

But remember how Batman Begins had to fight the slack of Batman & Robin... And that was like 7 years later.. It's only been 3 years since TASM2. People don't just forget the previous version that quickly/easily.

Of course they won't forget. Spider-Man was the best thing about CW, which did huge numbers.

Sure it can do CW type numbers. But even that's slightly on the Optimistic side.

Also bear in mind every single SM movie to date has performed worse domestically than the prior SM film. Sure Homecoming will break that cycle, but it's worth bearing in mind before predicting anything crazy about this one.

I've already pointed out the box office for this could make or break the Sony/Marvel deal forever. So of course it effects us.

Bonus: it should get Zack Snyder finally fired if both Spider-Man and Thor destroy Justice League at the box office 😂

^^^those are legit reasons, but mostly, posters use box office as a way of saying 'look how good/bad this movie is', when that matters not one bit.

The Sony/Marvel deal is a good reason, but it's a Spiderman movie: it's going to make a fuck-ton of money.

And as long as Snyder's JL makes money at the box office (and it no doubt will) they won't fire him. It will be a steaming pile of shit undoubtedly, but that doesn't matter.

I'm going to miss Zack after this doesn't even bomb, but falls short of the two billion by 8 dollars.

Point being if it "only" grossed $700-800million, then Sony have literally no reason to renew the deal as they were making that much anyway without Marvel.

Whereas in the unlikely event it grossed Avengers type money, that'd pretty much be a guarantee that Sony will lick Marvel's balls for eternity.

The reality will probably be somewhere in between which means they will think hard every few years if they want to renew or not.

Well that would be WB's dumb decision. But at least they and Snyder should be embarrassed at how the frigging Justice League can't even make as much as Spider-Man or Thor in the same year.
