Hardy wasn't the draw for TDKR, he didn't even get big until after that movie.

Stupid prediction as a usual 😉

2nd worst 2nd weekend drop for a MCU film:

That's a big shame and doesn't bode well for Sony wanting the renew their deal with Marvel. Especially if the Venom movie does well next year.

Honestly not surprised. Thought the movie was a tad weak, personally, and I can't be the only one.

Think about it. SM: HC did a respectable 100 plus OW. The films that follow will gradually make more. Reboots usually start out somewhat lower than the previous films.

I was bored.

I probably would have liked it if it wasn't the 500th Spiderman movie made.

I thought any time he wasn't in costume, the movie was decent. The action scenes, what few of them there were, weren't great though. Especially the horribly edited/shot final battle.

i see silly folks panicking and a pedo loving troll continually trolling...

at least game of thrones was good

of course a certain dceu film fail nearly 70 % in its second week and managed to make damn near $900 million worldwide, NOT SAYING Spidey Homecoming will make that tye of dough but it will be financially successful. afterwards once that hapens i will laugh wholeheartedly...

Maybe you should wholeheartedly try to be coherent

Yeah, I dont understand what hes trying to say.

The Venom film has nothing to do with Homecoming. Even if it does Spin Off's don't usually make more than the originals and this won't have IM to help market it either Lol

The main thing Venom has going for it is it's something New which is what audiences seem to want nowadays.

But 150 is another one of your silly predictions

Leave the predictions to those who aren't usually a couple of billion Off LOL

I enjoyed it, but so far no one I know has raved about it. So appears your opinion seems to be the majority amongst audiences.

It's probably only dropped 60% due to the critic rating.

I'm with you on that. One of my friends said it was a waste and he's a Spiderman fan.
P.S. lol, on a side note, he was wondering if Pete didn't find any one better than Liz to crush on

I liked the film, but, as I pointed out in my earlier comments, I thought Liz was mediocre at best. And Flash was also really bad.

Some of you mother****ers have insanely high standards

Awesome Movie I watch this movie last night from movies4star.

Vulture was awesome, made the movie! The fact that they redid Flash and MJ as people of color pissed me off. I'm a comic traditionalist and that sorta ruined it for me? And MJ bringing liberal political bs into it also ticked me off. Wrong platform for that?

In terms of Epic action sequences I think they wanted the leave that for the sequels, hence the relatively modest budget on this one(for a SM film).Kind of like with the Captain America trilogy.

Even Ramai's SM films saved the best action sequences for the sequel.

That's not MJ and Flash's race is irrelevant.

It was a good movie. Its making decent money. Its not making MONSTER money but that isn't really a bad thing. That only affects Sony.
Why is this an issue again?

The thing is, I liked Holland in CW. He's a decent enough Spidey. I just... Eh.
