Legends of Tomorrow

Really enjoyed the Season opener.

episode sucked. Definitely a step down from the Samurai one.

Guess if Ray is taking Snart's gun, we won't be seeing him any time soon.

I liked the Civil War setting with zombies, but to each their own. And yeah, that seems to be the case with Snart sadly.

Starting to believe Rip just gave up and decided to shadow the crew and fix their messes.

Because how could time NOT be changing from episode to episode?

Sure, lets kill a shogun and a bunch of samurai (Did they even recover the scraps of the power armor?), and fight a zombie horde with General Grant. I'm sure that won't affect the timeline. 🙂

I don't think we're supposed to think about those things too much. Because if we have to analyze that, then we also have to wonder just how Nate knew exactly when/where to find Ray, when the team got scattered. The only evidence we see that even hints at Ray's whereabouts is some article headline that reads "Jurassic Man Real or Hoax?" and a picture of a shoe print.

Good episode, but was there a reason Darhk didn't have or use his powers here?

He likely hadn't acquired the idol, which gave him his powers, at that point in time yet. Also, that heat barrier Firestorm created to stop those bullets was pretty cool.

I did find the one bit stupid though, where Sara claimed Thawne was faster than Barry. She has had virtually zero interaction with the Flash herself (she was either away, or dead, during pretty much all the crossovers), and literally just saw a red streak, for like 1 second, yet she makes claims like that.

Now, this version of Thawne might very well be faster. We don't actually know which incarnation this is, or from which point in the time line he traveled back, so he might very well be a version who is faster than Barry. But having Sara make the statement doesn't mean anything. And, without another speedster around, the point is kind of moot in anyways. He is magnitudes faster than any of the Legends.

Solid episode though at times the writing can be kind of bad, like how the team decided Sara should be on a mission with a personal vendetta, how stupid the professors Wife was (really dancing with a stranger??), and how literally out of nowhere the professors younger version conveniently appears. I like this show though and the cast is a lot of fun, but those were some weak points imo

To be fair, young Martin making a nuisance of himself seems like kind of a running gag at this point, whenever he shows up. And his wife has always been kind of wack, IMO. She lets him wander off for months on end, without any real explanation as to what specifically he is doing, during the time he is off hopping through history with the rest of the Legends. I mean there is trust, and then there is an almost unbelievable lack of interest in her own husband's doings.

The bit with Sara wasn't the most smoothly handled though. I can definitely agree on that.

So Obsidian just kind of fades out after one more encounter? Oh and Sara turning into Oliver-lite is exactly where I didn't want this to go especially since she was pretty tolerable in S1 and even entertaining in part. Also I don't know what this show want's to do with Ray at this point which is a shame as there's now room to give him actual superpowers.

Oh and as for Martin's wife, I can dig it as her wackiness has somehow kept her from fulfilling CW tropes. I mean from her perspective, Jefferson has probably paid more attention to her than either version of Martin.

It should be interesting to see how Ray modifies the cold gun now at the very least, as he had to take something out of it to stop the earlier bomb. His struggling partnership with Rory is definitely amusing too.

Just catching up on the latest episodes of Legends. Watching episode 3 of this season.

There is one part where Sara goes "don't worry we are professionals we know what we are doing". Lol!

Malcom loses to Thea, Sara now, who will kick his ass now?

I enjoyed this episode. One thing that I do find a bit dumb, though it is obviously for the sake of plot, is that none of the Legends mentioned a time-traveling speedster to Team Flash, during the crossover. Especially after hearing about Flashpoint, and how much damage speedsters can do to the time line.

I wanted to be stoked or something for him appearing, but was too far from it. Arrow has just made me tired of him, and I thought he was badass till at least season 4. Then the jobbing started with him which continues to happen, so why am I supposed to be excited for this guy again?

Saw Snart in the preview for this, and him only being a figment of Rory's imagination is disappointing, tho not surprising. Okay episode otherwise for a mid-season final.

Yeah, I am really hoping that this is not becoming a thing on these shows. We've already had it with Diggle/Deadshot, now with Rory/Snart, and quite possibly with Oliver/Laurel (though that still remains to be seen). At least when it happened to Cisco there was a valid explanation for it.

It's like they know we want some of these characters back, so they bring 'em in for a scene or two, only to go "Psyche! They weren't really there" just to be a cocktease. It gets old.

Sara can probably kick Ollie's ass, though.

But I see your point. Legends is the place where washed up villains go.
