Superman punts Orion off-panel and escapes via flying away. Superman even says "I need to escape from that maniac." There's no evidence Orion is knocked out or even hurt.
At least when Surfer beat-down Orion (with only 3 attacks), it showed Orion in a near-death state on-panel. In fact, the Black Racer came to pickup Orion's soul.
^ Orion would've died, if Surfer didn't have a change of heart and hold off Black Racer.
Just curious. In Superman's fights with Orion, has he ever (nearly) killed Orion with only 3 attacks?

You don't know much about black racer, do you? It comes for the soul of New Gods when the time of their death comes whether they are dying or not. You're just assuming it's a KO. All Superman did was punt him off-panel and fly away to escape. Being "back in the game" is a general statement, and doesn't prove Orion was KO'd. Could've just meant Orion had caught up to Superman after he escaped.
Orion says on panel he's about to die, and the Black Racer was here for him... He only survived because Surfer caused the Black Racer to hesitate long enough for the Mother Box to heal him. Says so in the scan.
For your challenge, show me Superman nearly killing Orion in 3 attacks, like Surfer did. 😛
Keep in mind don't think Surfer is far superior to Superman (or Thor, Hulk, etc.). They're all roughly the same, give or take. You're just overly paranoid when it comes to heroes who can challenge Superman.
