I realise this isn't a TLOU2 thread, so I'll keep it brief.
I don't agree. You can tell me you liked the Ellie sections more, and I won't argue. You can say they had more emotional resonance, and I won't argue. I do think it's clear, though, that Abby has the more transformative arc (by design). Abby does effect/affect the world at large around her more than Ellie does. The plot of the game spins out of something Abby does at the very start. In many ways, she's the main character, or at the very least, is meant to be.

Starfighter Assault feels more like a movie throwdown.
Not sure I agree, but okay.

Yeah, playing with Abbys dog and then killing that dog as Ellie later, etc.It was intentionally done imo. They really wanted people to like Abby.
Yeah, and it's not very subtle at all.

Exactly. I was also not fond of the fact that Druckmann stated before the release of the game, Ellie would be the only playable character. To me if felt that Abby might of had a little more play time as well. Naughty Dogg wanted us to sympathize with her so much but honestly I couldn't.A better way to describe this is, Angry Joe's review of LOU2. It's comical and his skit of Druckmann as it pertains to Ellie and Abby I believe is 100 percent accurate.

lol. Druckmann... I want to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. I do. It's okay to prefer something I don't like, etc. But he just... he rubs me the wrong way.

Yeah, and really poorly executed.
Yup.

Nah, that baby is all Druckmann's. This is what happens when he goes unsupervised and unquestioned.
I don't know why the sex scene is so ****ing bad though. Even with all the jokes about Abby's physique being what they are, they could have shown something far more watchable.
