I was making a joke. But while we're on the subject, would you use the word 'thug' to describe the Kentucky fans who set fire to cars and caused general mayhem after they won the basketball championship?
I guess window breakers are more of a topic than unpunished spine breakers. You'd think people would be more concerned that the people supposedly in charge of enforcing our laws can brutally murder people for fun with impunity, but I guess why complain about that when you can complain about irrelevant looting, a fairly standard byproduct of social outrage in any community in which opportunistic criminals are present, regardless of race (which is virtually everywhere).

Whatever the reason is it's still wrong. Though I don't think they set fire to businesses or steal anything unlike what the thugs in Baltimore or Ferguson were doing. So at least they have some kind of rules they adhere to when they make a fool out of themselves. The animals have no code whatsoever though.

So again I guess broken windows trump broken spines on the public priority list.
The difference is that we don't really know what happened to the guy that died from a snapped spine while there is plenty of proof of what the rioters did. You certainly don't have proof that the police "killed him for fun".

So they ARE charging the cops with murder. Which means all those riots were for nothing. This Mosby chick involved in the investigation needs to go though, we need an impartial person. On the radio, it was said she has ties to the attorney representing Gray(or his family, or whatever).

You just illustrated the problem PERFECTLY. So let us address this. First of all, don't minimize what is being done. Don't just call them "window breakers". These f*ckheads were trashing their city and burning stuff, and stealing. Some were even attacking cops, throwing rocks, etc. You labeling them as mere window breakers is no better then what you perceive to be as people caring more about "window breakers" then the dead kid. That is like if I said the cops merely just "roughed Freddy up a bit".
Here is the thing, until today we didn't really know entirely what happened or if the cops would be charged. We had a witness, but he was apparently another criminal in the van, not exactly trustworthy. So yeah, people kind of focused on the folk trashing their city.
You also call the looting irrelevant? Again, perfect illustration of the problem. I'd guaran-damn-tee you if it was YOUR family business that was getting looted or people were attempting to burn to the ground..I guarantee you it wouldn't be irrelevant to you.
Just because looting and burning is a "standard by-product" of social outrage doesn't make it right. These people have zero right to loot or burn, I don't give a crap what perceived injustices they feel. Loot the cops, burn down the police stations, but stay the hell away from people who did nothing to you.
You also show why this type of crap is just going to keep happening: because some people have the attitude that we should turn a blind eye towards it because hey a kid died, so screw all those people being robbed, having their businesses damaged, etc. You also fail to realize the rioting was a thing that went on for days, they called in the friggin national guard and you label them as mere window breakers?
