Unless you lied, you've reported twice in as many weeks, reporto. Keep reporting, I'll keep laughing.

You and your fantasy stories, maybe get a life and stop obsessing over me? Be your own man, that's a challenge, quano.

Continue to repeat the nonsense. You're just some paranoid troll.

Yes, he said it took two plus hours to apply his prosthetics plus the voice matched. I'm curious to see the final budget for this film.

I hated the music for the trailer but it looks interesting. I'll probably watch it in theaters.

It was in the first film as well. Action looks good. I've always said Trek matches up with Star Wars and this seems to indicate further proof of that.

I think they really rushed this trailer to make it out for the force awakens so I imagine the special effects will be much better come July.

Why does Kirk look so douchey in this? Why didn't Abrams direct? I guess it was to do Star Wars? Kind of makes me wish they would of waited until he had time.

Look at the Star Wars trailer and look at the beyond trailer. The next trailer will be better but Abrams is clearly on another level as a director and Trek will suffer post Abrams. Still this looks fun and different.

I just recently picked up the latest Trek film for $3 at a dollar store and also have the first one JJ did, which has commentary from him. They basically more or less say they wanted to give the films the type of pace Star Wars had, and that they were influenced heavily by it.

Then if you watch "Into Darkness" the part with Scotty alone in his ship where he goes to investigate the coordinates given to him by Kirk..you just get a big Star Wars vibe. Which isn't bad though. It at least tells me the new Star Wars will most definitely be superior to the prequels.

But Kirk looks weird like they are trying to make him appear older then he truly is.

Into Darkness is a cinematic masterpiece. Do not listen to the minority that comprise Trekkers. Just people refusing to adapt and raging out at anything that doesn't line up with their preconceived notions of Trek.

I actually agree, I think Into Darkness for me captured the essence of Trek and what it was and what it should be in the future.

Yep Abrams was a Star Wars fan first and foremost 👆 He was never really much of a Trek fan.

I bet the trailer scared you as they are even more formidable as a universe.

I'll take the first three Nu trek films against either the prequels or the ot's only. 3 vs. 3 in an epic space war. This is the only challenge you'll ever get from me so accept the challenge or continue to live in shame afraid of me and my debating superiority.

The NuEnterprise does not have the best combat record.

It is just the case of the bad guys being more formidable than the good guys thus overcoming great odds aka dramatic storytelling.

Darth Thor has stated he'd decimate me in a debate and scoffs at the idea of NuTrek so I'll go trilogy against trilogy with either the prequels or the originals.

I bet he will balk at my challenge.

Honestly the Enterprise getting beat so easily is old now.

I disagree. I like it getting thrashed. Enterprise would rape the millennium falcon.

The new Beyond's villain is named and why they pose a threat to the enterprise and the federation. New species and all. Come and get it, Darth Thor. Show you have some nuts this summer.

I agree.
But visually it does look cool.
I was sentimental when The Enterprise got destroyed in previous movies (Ha ha Riiker crashing it under his command).
Loved Picard ramming it in Nemesis...but yeah not really needed too soon in the new franchise.
