Who cares ?

What kind of music choice was that? I actually like the song but it was an absolutely awful choice, it ruined the trailer.

Same song from the first. Just a trailer. Action looks to be on point so those who have said Trek doesn't compete with Star Wars will eat their words like I've always said.

Yeah, the song choice for the trailer was turrable. It's a good song, but i think it sets the wrong tone for a, Star Trek film. Even though i don't mind a more action oriented, Star Trek film franchise, the song suggests nothing but action. Either way, it's just a trailer. The last two movies were good, so, give the film a chance. Even if the story is trash, we could have a good movie based on dialogue and actor chemistry...,much like the last trek movie.

How was Into Darkness not a compelling story ?

I didn't say it wasn't compelling. I just don't think it was very strong. The entire movie seemed to hinge on the, Khan gimmick. I'm sure the Khan story line was chosen because it was so relevant to the, Star Trek lore and JJ was still struggling to make the franchise feel familiar to preexisting fans. It was a good story, but it wasn't original and the biggest appeal of, Star Trek, to me is the endless topics and directions you can take the characters in. I know a big argument of the movies has become how action oriented the films have become. One part of me loves this aspect because it forces the story to keep moving but another part of me yearns for the more cerebral approach.

Again, i'm not negatively criticizing the first two movies. I liked them both very much, but most of that has to do with the casting and basic dialogue. As for the trailer for the new movie..,i'm simply saying that the trailer looks lackluster, not the movie

I completely disagree but to each their own. Opinions vary. I hope you'll see this Trek. A new alien species and antagonist so maybe it's what you crave. Nero was also a newer villain for the original.

Oh yeah, i'm definitely going to see it. I love the cast and i dont doubt that it'll be good but it'll take something really special to recapture that, "star trek" feeling, for me.

I hope it looks better and I feel it will since this was a rush job. I want to see Spock in action again. This new chick better not hog up all the action.

I dont know i don't think it's going to be anything special. I think it's going to be a decent action flick with the STar Trek licensing. This isn't a bad thing but it's not what i i hope for as a, Stark Trek Fan. Let's face it, a lot of the original, Star Trek movies were the same thing, but they didn't produce positive as good action/sci-fi movies.

Obviously you don't....bandwagon jumper.

New trailer looks pretty crap.

I'm liking this new enemy.

Someone doesn't like their villains getting beat up by chicks, huh?

Huh? Did Wesley Crusher have a cameo in Nemesis? I honestly don't remember that.

Apparently they had to cut 48 minutes of footage & Wesley's scene didn't make it.

But Bryan Singer's cameo did make it 😂

I'm more surprised that Shinzon was played by Tom Hardy.
Obviously he was pretty unknown back then but compared to how bulked up he is these days & the roles he's played since, it's just weird to me to know he played a villain in Star Trek.

^ Yeah that is funny, how Hardy basically played a young, evil Picard 😂

I only noticed that when I caught it on Tv last year, and I was laughing my ass off.

It was the sexual tension between young & old Picard that made it even weirder.

Ah Mr. Singer you just couldn't help it!
