LoL at bandwagonboy losing his shit over one preview scene before the exact context is known.

I've been saying this well before this preview. I've actually unlike you shown testicles since I'll debate it. You aren't a NuTrrk guy but I'm the face of the franchise here. Get mad. 😂

You basically don't even post in this section of the board. You're like Rogue Jedi just a memory.

😂

CBS (the guys who handle almost all of the licensing for Star Trek) are calling this the "Kelvin Timeline" as they're going to be adding JJ-ships to Star Trek Online. Was interesting, I thought.

That was a great trailer.

Those numbers just from the trailer alone will give Trek the numerical advantage in my upcoming battlezone. Teehee.

Never really played that myself, but it's cool they're doing it.

It has its good and its bad points. I still enjoy it.

I DL'd it and poked around some, but I was at the time playing Champions Online and didn't feel like committing to another MMO game.

Understandable, I generally only play one at a time myself. STO had a pretty awful start too, and right now it's owned by an Asian company that try to add as much grinding as possible. Luckily, there's still a decent story mode and a wide variety of ships.

People are going to be hungry for a good sci-fi film after ID4 being terrible.

Yeah, heard that too back then, several people I'd team with on Champions tried STO more in depth and said it had some major downsides.

We can only hope this does wonders at the box office or at least enough to get another big budget sequel. This Kelvin timeline is sooooooooooo friggin awesome.

Well the trailer is doing well. Star Trek deserves to have a monster hit. If pile of shit franchises like Fast and Furious and Transformers can have big hits, why not Star Trek?

Opinions vary and just because we agree they are garbage that doesn't mean others do. I am just hoping to get more Kelvin Trek on the big screen. Love to see Trek and Wars go back and forth releasing films.

I have watched this twice.. I'm intrigued.. star trek is something I love as I'm a die hard fan... this clearly feels like fast and furious in outer space, but that I like.. will be seeing on opening day

Khan, Nero, and Krall are all exciting and different villains that each represent a different problem to the Federation.

TheTrekcollective and Trekcore have nice breakdowns of the trailer.

It seems the swarm ships are one entity or launch from a mothership.

One of the aliens has a weapon that takes out several star fleet personal with one shot. Spock is also engaging in hth combat with the swarm aliens. Probably how he gets injured.

To me it looked like Krall but I'm not sure. That gun is awesome and supports my claims that Trek progresses and has better weaponry than Star Wars and their shitty blasters. I bet Krall beats his ass and that's why he's injured.

The still from your site looks like it isn't Krall.

Yeah, looks like a different alien.
