Meh. Back to the topic Kelvin Trek>>>>>>>> prime Trek.

You're correct in your own way. Kelvin Trek does film better.

Prime Trek is kinda like the Silver Age in comics. It's not so much "good" as it is "what the f*ck is going on this is awesome" which is different. Like Kirk fighting the Gorn was awesome in it cheesiness, but it wasn't actually good tv.

But in Prime Trek you won't see a dwarf being mind controlled to get on top of a mind controlled Kirk who is then forced to behave like a horse.

Lol, Kirk as a f*cking horse:

Shatner isn't very good at being a horse.

How much LSD was required to write this episode?!

McCoy was emotionally broken by seeing Kirk as a horse. A piece of that man died on this planet.

Yes, this same magical episode contains this moment as well:

Prime Trek is awful. I cannot fathom how people can subject themselves to the torture. Only good thing to come of it is Spock. Abrams made Trek great and the awful fanbase tried to reject it. May they burn forever.

Dude I just showed you a midget riding a Kirk who was being forced to pretend to be a horse.

What more can I give?

Spock friggin sings in the same ep!

He sang it under the watchful eyes of a dwarf, no less.

You by association are just as bad as Shatner and the midget who rode him.

Some people just can't appreciate good cheese

Good cheese is True Blood this is bad cheese.

TB first few seasons was good cheese, then it turned rotten. ST:TOS stayed deliciously pungent from start to finish.

Nimoy loves little people too though. Proof:

As badass an Nimoy is/was, he can't hold a candle to Shatner's singing in ridiculousness.

The glory starts around 50 seconds in.

When he gets to the "I'm gonna be high as kite" part I swear it sounds like the Close Encounters theme starting up.

Exactly. I own the album, picked it up for .99 cents 20ish years ago.

Thing is, Nimoy likelyknew and accepted that his Ballad of Bildo Baggins was tongue-in-cheek, he had no delusions. Shatner believed (probably still does) his renditions of Rocket Man, Lucky In The Sky with Diamonds etc were great.

Yes but we needed him to believe it was great otherwise his performance wouldn't have been as good.

He smokes a cig like he literally foresaw the creation of Don Draper somehow.

One of the few audio books I've listened to (I prefer reading books) was whatever autobiography of his was around in the mid 90's. ****ing hilarious, the man's ego is boundless.

TB didn't turn to shit until after Russell was killed off and ball left the show.

For me it went south after the 3rd season really. Russel back in the 5th season was cool, but they killed him in a lame way.

Then Warlow turns out to look nothing like this dread locked f*cker we saw in flashbacks. I choose to believe he possessed Rob Zombie briefly.

Still remember the MTV music awards when he did You Could Be Mine by Guns n Roses...fantastic stuff.
