It can definitely be chalked up as inconsistency. Or maybe he can use godly ki in all forms. Im not saying they cant use godl ki in normal ssj form, just that it is not as efficiently as SSB. Who knows though

Yeah, I'm thinking its that he can use godly ki in all forms. What makes this hard is differentiating when he is and isn't using it...

Like, I don't think they were using it against Cabba/Frost/Magetta... But like, Botamo would have to be super weak if he lost that bad to base Goku.

I think it is to keep SSB for intense battle. They cant be throwing the form around like it is ssj in cell saga.

Goku always has that Godly Ki (it's simply his power, always part of him, it's just his power always, no matter what form), in SSB form is just fully realized.

Cabba, Trunks, they haven't reached that level yet.

Last episode proves Goku was holding back against Trunks.

Haven't watched it with subtitles yet, but for now, Black is just weak.

Watched it with subtitles... good episode and Black power is always rising when fighting an opponent.

Goku could kill him instantly if he went all out, but Black will sooner or later reach that level.

I want to see Whis get into an actual fight, or even Beerus again, but unfortunately Black may never reach those levels.

Maybe he will. I would like Black to take out Beerus, because Beerus has practically become a friend with Goku and others now (because of that Beerus might get involved actually)... so Black defeating Beerus would make a statement of how dangerous Black is... otherwise, no point of having such villain.

Black is more of a Trunks villain than anything else.

I love all the hype black gives goku. Making it seem like goku is the ultimate fighter

Everybody knows Toriyama makes it up as he goes, he admitted to that in interviews ("I do whatever's easiest", he said.) They'll be an even bigger bad, and black will lose to Chibi Trunks or something stupid.

I sense Truffle shenanigans and/or Black killing a Kai and taking his gear etc.

Killing a Kai and taking his gear is what I'm thinking, I could almost see him snapping the other Potara earring on Goku during a fight.

But he said something about "this body"...I have no idea what he's supposed to be.

"This body", could be Tuffle shenanigans like I presumed
