So I tried to watch Super again for Future Trunks and while it's not completely horrible the power tier of some of these characters is still a mess. For example how powerful is Trunks supposed to be given his fight with Goku.

Kind of takes away from Freeza's powering up, if EVERYBODY is SSJ God tier now.

The universe 6 Saiyan being a prime example. Even though Vegeta was merely using base SSJ, it's still the same SSJ that held off a 70% Beerus, supposedly.

Beerus vs Goku. Vegeta was about even with Goku without the SSJ Kaioken, and it's established SSJ Gods use god ki in all their forms. Base, SSJ, and SSJ God all use god ki, and are all much, much stronger than Buu or anybody pre Battle of the Gods.

Which means universe 6 Saiyan was also at the god ki level, or Vegeta would have treated him like Beerus treated SSJ3 Goku.

And it's a problem because the Saiyan only just learned how to go SSJ.

This completely undermines SSJ God, when everybody can easily reach it. It's crap writing, and makes the original Battle of the Gods a waste of time.

So yeah, Trunks holding his own with a SSJ God is no surprise. Just your typical garbage writing.

Why are you looking at the show?

Power levels are all over the place, you need to admit that, carver.

I'm catching up with GoT now, maybe I'll catch up with DBS next.

Time travel of any kind is forbidden even by the gods.... Yet hasn't Whis talked about manipulation of time countless times because beerus destroys things? Lol

No he wasn't (far from it as is Trunk far from it), only Hit was.

Beerus long since said SSJ and base forms have god ki infused in them. The mere fact Goku can fight Beerus as a SSJ, after losing hia SSJ God form, proves this definitively. If Goku didn't have god ki mixed in his base/SSJ forms, his fight with Beerus would look exactly like it did when he challenged him on King Kai s planet.

And so would Vegeta'a fight with the newly minted SSJ. What applies for Goku, also applies for Vegeta, as Goku and Vegeta are roughly equal in power levels (Proven when copy Vegeta, with real Vegeta's exact powers, fought Goku to a standstill)

When Beerus said that Goku has infused godly Ki in him, he meant Goku became independent of his fellow saiyans. To put his Godly Ki fully in practice, he has to turn SSB from then on, but of course he always has that Ki inside him (no matter which form), in SSB it's just fully realized.

And copy Vegeta destroyed Gotenks. Cabba or Trunks are far from Godly Ki, not matter how was shown in the show (this is Dragon Ball after all). Sometimes it's just obvious. Only Hit was, no one came close, except Frieza.

And Goku surpassed Vegeta by far with his Kaio-ken. It doesn't matter what it did to Goku body (Goku also used it the first time in a fight), shown power level in Dragon Ball = Goku and also Hit>>>>>>Vegeta.

So no, Vegeta is not close equal to Goku or Hit by what we have seen.

And I don't know why this completely irrelevant things even annoys you. Just enjoy the show and that is it.

To be honest the inconsistent showing was the Goku vs Beerus one. Every other showing points to them not using godly Ki in the normal ssj forms. Or they can just control the godly Ki so well that hey only use it in their God modes.

Which makes sense because why would they want to waste there godly Ki. In lowers forms that cant control it well at all. That is the whole point of ssb.

Are you implying that Goku was only operating at Buu-saga levels when he defeated Botamo in base? I could be on board with the idea, NGL... But I thought the implication was that Botamo was on Majin Buu's level.

Im just saying since he has complete control over his godly ki he might be storing it for when he get serious. Wasnt that the whole purpose of that crazy hyperbolicish training they went through. It just seems like ever since they learned ssb they have been back to normal in their ssj modes

Did it say that was Majin Buu level? Even if it did he never really hurt Botamo just knocked him out of the ring

I want to agree, but that begs a few questions... Was he using it against Botamo? Did he stop using it when he fought Frost?
