Tiny screens, poor battery life. Much prefer playing on a 10 inch tablet screen, stretched at 4:3 proportions.

I'll gladly play on a monochrome Gameboy, though. 😉

Well, yeah, but who the hell has gamed on a GBA for hours on end in the last 7 years?

I still have my GBA SP. Love playing on it, but the battery is not what it was, of course.

Golden Sun (both 1 & Lost Age), LotR: RotK and Third Age... great games.

Out of Pokemon, I've only played Pokemon Emerald 😮

Emerald's great. Don't know why it's so underrated.

It seems like the top rated games are either on the old fashioned gameboy, or on the DS.

Personaly, Firered spoiled me for the classic games, so I couldn't go back and enjoy Crystal later. Which is where the Liquid Crystal hack comes in, it's basically a fan made remake of Crystal ala Firered/Leaf Green. (Yeah, I know about Soulsilver/Heartgold, but those aren't Crystal remakes.)

I liked it when I first played it... didn't beat the last hidden boss, though... that trainer in the cave or whoever that was. Shame, shame, shame.

Lost interest rather quickly when I tried to replay it whole. I prefer Golden Sun(s).

Wait, there's a game boy version of The Third Age? What?

Far as DBZ on the GBA, Supersonic Warriors was where it was it. The Legacy of Goku games were... okay too.

Yes, there is. And it's awesome. Turn-based tactics. You get exp for characters, buy skills, equipment and disposable items like the Lembas Bread.

You get to choose "companions" for each battle, too... Eomer, Haldir (hidden), Gimli, Legolas, Eowyn, Theoden, Faramir, Boromir. Or Gothmog, Gorbag, Shagrat (hidden), Grima, Lurtz, Ugluk, Sharku, Grishnakh if you choose the dark side.

Yeah, I played The Third Age for the Xbox when I was younger... Man I spent so many hours trying to unlock all of the level 100 skills...

I only played it on GBA. But I know versions on other platforms had that Berethor character as one of the protagonists.
