Was it said somewhere that the humans were able to see the Z fighters and other gods fight? I'm not seeing it.
Piccolo advice against Saibamen just makes no sense. Goten and Trunks are horrible at sensing ki so they shouldn't be able to follow anyone fighting. But even they can follow the fights. Vegeta followed Beerus vs God Goku... without being a tenth of their power. But Krillen and Gohan couldn't see Goku moving when he got to Namek.. But only against Jeice and Burter. Then Krillen is able to notice and react to Freeza and cut his tail off. It's just inconsistency at its finest to make people relevant or to show how great they are depending on the circumstances.

Can you post the clip of Satan being able to see the fight?
What beings were too weak to see the U6 and U7 fight?
I could've sworn it was said they couldn't detect Hit and GOKU movement during their fight?
Nothing was ever said on Vegeta being able to fully detect Goku and Beerus.
Freeza was standing still when Krillin damaged him. When Goku and Freeza started fighting, Krillin couldn't see a thang.
What story line involving comics and Anime isn't inconsistent?

Every person there not fighting? Bulma, Chi-Chi, videl specifically. They all were watching the fights. When they shouldn't be able to see anything ever.
Vegeta was sitting on top of the boat watching the battle of the gods.
I'm just pointing out the inconsistency is in people unable to follow their fights. They have bursts where they move fast and people look around. But that's even to people they are equal with. Most of the time it's not like that.

Doesn't make sense. I can sit in a booth where Flash and Zoom is fighting...doesn't mean I can tell what's going on. Hercule was invited to be there to back his people and to aid in Buu participating in the fight...doesn't mean he knows what is going on during battle. This is why I am asking you for proof.
So do you have proof of Chi Chi etc watching the fight? Of course they will be there to back their children. We're you expecting them not to show up?
Vegeta was sitting there m, doesn't mean he seen everything that was going on. Krillin was sitting there while Goku was fighting the Ginyu Force, doesn't mean he seen everything in detail. Being present doesn't dictate anything tbh. This is why I am asking you for proof. Aquaman was present when Flash and Zoom was fighting but he didn't see anything happening during th3 battle.
I agree that there are some parts you can point out that's inconsistent but I don't think the visual aspects of their combat is one of them.
There are too many examples to count, but it's pretty much EVERY case of a normal human character being able to keep track of the fight either via typical stupid peanut gallery commentary fluff ("I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT!"😉 or them realizing they're about to get killed.
What exactly is Bulma freaking out about in that clip? How the hell is Bulma aware of Frieza's attack?
Comparatively:
So what? Frieza has gotten weaker? Or are Bulma's senses superior to Frieza arc Piccolo's?
Another example: https://youtu.be/3uiaIljPNgA?t=225
How does Hercule know Gohan flew into the poison? And if Lavender and/or the poison is truly that slow, how does Gohan ever even manage to get tagged by this stuff?
Marron thinks her papa is amazing. Why? Shouldn't she be asking what just happened? https://youtu.be/WFwAXrFo3j0?t=21
We could do this all day.

They never ask what is going on, they know what just happened. When someone is doing something too fast to be seen it's usually said, or shown specifically. Then that's usually forgotten about as they fight more and the person that couldn't see them move is able to dodge or notice them attacking.

To be fair, both chichi and videl are trained fighters you use ki. According to piccolo, it's more sensing a fight than watching one. That does raise the question on how the tiny force and other aliens who can't sense see things, but that can be explained away with them being aliens with weird hyper sensitive alien eyes.

Bulma is freaking out because Frieza is standing still talking to Goku and then turned around and shot a blast. No one during that scene is moving at high speed and Frieza obviously didn't shoot a beam as fast as the one in your scan or Bulma wouldn't have saw it coming. No one said everything a DBZ character does is at super speed. You might as well ask how did Bulma see Vegeta eating that Octopus?
Hercule knew Gohan was flying in the smoke because Gohan obviously wasn't moving at super speed due to him being poisoned and blind. Every action a Z fighter take isn't super fast. You do know this right?
Are you talking about the scene where Goku is getting strangled? You're trying waaaaay to hard.

His examples suck though.

Bulma isn't though. And like I said Goten and Trunks have been shown to be bad at sensing things. It was their big downfall in Hey Goku and His Friends Return
Yeah, but bulma has been going to tournaments where she can't actually see the fighters since she was like 15. I bet she just got really good a mimicking yamcha/krillin's reactions for moral support.
Just because goten and trunks suck at sensing doesn't mean they don't do it. I would wager it's like a kid who needs glasses but doesn't where them when they play sports. You can't see very well but you have enough of a gist to react accordingly.
Originally posted by carver9If your argument is that they randomly and arbitrarily decide not to fight at super speed for . . . reasons, then you're in full agreement that it's lousy writing either way. Them randomly "not moving at super speed all the time" makes equally as much sense as ordinary humans being able to keep track of the fights. And I don't buy any notion that Frieza isn't trying to move at high speed, given Goku was caught off guard both with the blast he hurled towards Bulma and the followup sneak attack he used to send Goku plummeting towards the ground.

Gohan is able to adjust to and keep up with Lavender just fine (even do the whole trademark dbz 'yayayayayayayayayyaayah!' punch/kick stuff). The speed he brandishes while flying into that smoke is not noticeably different than the speed he had been fighting Lavender with before and after getting poisoned.
So what's your argument? That Gohan for reasons unknown never decided to use super speed during that fight? And that Lavender, for reasons unknown, generously decided he wouldn't use his super speed either because he's such a generous guy?
Are you talking about the scene where Goku is getting strangled? You're trying waaaaay to hard. No, I'm talking about the recent Goku vs Krillin fight. I posted the other link by mistake. Naturally, if the argument is that neither decided to use super speed for reasons unknown, then we're right back where we started with the bad writing.

In what kinda way are they consistent?
Originally posted by carver9There's usually the moment of 'where did they go' then looking around when someone does it. Then they don't do it again as they are able to at least notice when they are being beat down. Gokou against Ginyu Force is the best example. Moves too fast to see but against Freeza they aren't just appearing where they stopped fighting to talk. Or nobody would have followed that fight at all.
It's not said every time though and it doesn't need to be said every time.
