Uub is a cookie-cutter character compared to Beerus. Don't see him getting replaced, but if he was, maybe good Buu after becoming fit. With how he progressed in such a short amount of time from fat to his current state, he could go a long way under Whis, probably.
I suspect it's safe to assume that like Frieza, Buu has never trained a day in his life. Buu beginning to training is actually a pretty terrifying thought with the Frieza example in mind.

Regarding Buuhan vs. Good Buu, there a video about his possible power level in the near future.

The latter. Was initially surprised a magical being like a Majin would naturally lose weight too without having to shapeshift. If compared to the other Buu forms, wouldn't be surprised if Fit Buu could beat Buuhan from what's been shown so far and the showings he's later gonna have.
Aside from the fact they made it clear to us beforehand that 17 would be convinced to join the tournament (making his initial reluctance unnecessary), his return itself was pretty cool, and I appreciate that they actually established 17 getting stronger on his own before the sparring with Goku started. Sorta look forward to the team up against the galactic poachers as buildup... Now we can finally forget emo GT 17 ever existed.

Some of you guys still going on with that? Goku purposely held back against his bald friend, just to measure how he does under pressure. Goku was about to fried Killrin by accident, then 18 jumped in.
