Really? I like them, and as dumb as it is I'll take insults to make someone angry and go SSJ over "he made me cry when I was a baby" like with Broly. Broly's character wasn't compelling, so I'm easily able to give Kale a pass.

At least broly was the same height in his base form. Kale went from a 4'9 85 lbs preteen to literally broly with breasts. So caulifa stops her with the ascended saiyan form? I can accept that you can learn super saiyans from focusing on different parts of you're body, but goku, vegeta, trunks, and gohan all spent over a year trying to push it to the next level and this girl who looks like she has never done a push up in her life does it after five minutes. That's bad man.

I thought he was already SSJ before the stabbing? Hence why King Vegeta feared him and wanted him executed.
He only went SSJ to survive Freeza's Death Ball explosion. And funnily enough, the SSJ x 50 multiplier would bring his power level to 500,000, which is nearly equal to base form Freeza's own and would logically let him defend himself from the blast.
Ah. Yeah, it would. I recall in the baby scene though he had the blue-ish hair color (like in his regular SSJ form) unlike the other saiyans whose was all black which implied to me he was such an anomaly to the point he was a super saiyan at birth. If he didn't actually achieve the form till the Frieza part though, then it makes more sense.

I think dbz support a mixed views about how the creator of dbz or dbs characters speed, which is fast, just not over the top (as you can see in the show excluding flight speed which is I believe under Mach 10). The dog, the grey hound is the fastest dog created, and visually you can see them being exceptionally fast:

They run at 70 miles per hour. Now I don't think they're as fast as a race car, but visually again, they're quick and that's what I think toriyama was thinking of the idea of their speed:

Goku's full of it when he tells Freeza gathering them could take time, they've literally done it in an afternoon. Kind of sucks to be Shenron, having to deal with these guys all the time instead of an interesting mix of people from all over the world, as the job originally intended. 🙂
