Jiren is definitely the mortal that is above his god of Destruction, who in turn is above Beerus. also, Gin/Arak/Ivan/Liquir are badasses.
Am positive Whis was trolling. Kind of like with how Beerus lied about using any real percentages of his power when he fought Goku. Just watch. There will be a similar throwaway line after the arc is over (i.e. Good job, Whis. Motivating Goku with your lie worked wonders!)

The games frieza seems to be playing make no sense. If you are a tyrant back stabbing mother****er why would you ally with another tyrant back stabbing mother****er? Because front in no way is going to act in a self serving demeanor? He would be better off playing it straight.
I think they'll double cross each other and Frieza will somehow pull enough strings to get himself appointed as a new god of destruction (probably universe 9, since Sidra sucks).

We'll see, but honestly, I highly doubt Whis was trolling. What motivation would the line have offered Goku? He legit didn't do any training after Whis said that line. We also know that with Monaka, Beerus created the lie, and Whis was scolding him for doing so.

One more prediction: At the end of Goku and Jiren's clash, their combined effort will either blow up the ring or at least knock it into pieces.

My prediction: Jiren has precognition. When he blitzed behind Goku, he was standing in the exact spot where the blocks wouldn't hit him. Goku even notes that he didn't even move and "completely read the blocks' movements."

Loved the battle between the Gods of Destruction. Amazing fight scene.

I think that was pure speed. Jiren is amazing.

You might be right. Honestly, my suspicion is mainly based on how Toei seems to like hyping Beerus at every opportunity. And didn't Whis lie in this episode about the need for hand holding?

Jiren seems so far above "everyone" There that it's crazy. I think he will probably be the villain of the show.

Does Universe 6 only have 8 members? Weird.

Nah, Toei has been shitting on Beerus lately. Regarding Whis, yeah, but his motivation for that was valid, as opposed to the line about the mortal.

This episode also proved how strong Daishinkan is. He can literally tell Goku and Jiren "no flying for you." 😂

I was thinking about that. I think Jiren is going to overcome that rule.

Nope, 10. 2 of them are hiding. They are either ghost or major speedsters.

He is stronger than Vermod and Beerus, so maybe. But he prolly won't overcome the rule. Daishinkan is too strong.

I actually liked the episode, Grand Priest was hilarious. Lets the Gods of Destruction fight then makes them fix the ring. XD

And Jiren is looking beastly, but I doubt he's going to wreck everyone easily. I mean Goku was only base level. That's like 400+ times weaker than what he can be so. When he's doing that to SSB Kaioken Goku, which he probably will, then I will be impressed by Jiren.

The Jiren hype is real.

Even while standing still the God of Destructions were moving at super speed. Great battle. I hope his Blue form does mean something to Jiren because Goku was shocked that Jiren was able to get past him (and I'm sure Jiren isn't even powered up). I honestly believe Jiren is going to make short work of Goku.

You think Thor stands a chance? 😛
