Gonna say Beerus keeps up just fine. Toei have proven time and time again that they don't care about consistency. If Beerus is to be a future opponent for Goku after this arc, then anything that happens in this arc is gonna be handwaved in a later one (i.e. "Yes, Vermud did beat me in armwrestling, but it was only my left hand!).

Don't think people are taking Vegeta training into effect when discussing this. The guy just finished training for no telling how long. To the point of destroying the room, twice.

Depending what he did, a month of non stop training is severe. I can see Vegeta training non stop with no rest. This is the same guy that stood on a mountain mentally training himself for a week without rest.
Originally posted by carver9I'm just saying we know how long he trained for, We also know how Vegeta trains. So he didn't get a great boost from it because he trains too hard. That's always been his downfall.

Vegeta getting a new technique (hopefully the timeskip) out of his recent training session would be great, but if previous arcs are of any indication, he'll take out the second bananas and then get jobbed by the big dog(s) when it's time to make way for Goku (whoa! That dude took out Vegeta easily! How is Goku going to win?!?!)

Question to anyone except cdtm...how do you all think Beerus would've done in the God of Destruction fight that happened in the latest episode? Do you think he could've kept up and did as well?
He would keep up with them. It wasn't an all out war between them, so he would keep up with them.
In all out war... were there any rankings of GoDs?
We know Beerus is more powerful than Champa and Whis said about Belmod above Beerus.
Beerus would whoop their asses.
How strong someone is in DBS is proportionate to how cool they look.
You think Beerus is going to lose to some Jar Jar Binks-looking mofo?
The Wolf man would have a chance though because he looks like a pokemon.
Besides, gods of destructions have purple energy, and Beerus is already purple without powering up. At this point I can definitely see him giving zeno the backhand then hakai him in the eyeball.

Vegeta went from getting stomped by Black with ease, trained for a couple of days, sent back to the future and treated Black like fodder. His training in Super has been effective. To the point of him becoming a God of pure training alone.
