1000x ftl speeds isn't impressive in dbz, even the original Super Saiyan already traveled across the entire universe making it "tremble" implying his path of destruction was wide spread across the universe. He did this for a year till he exploded and Daizenshuu timeline lists this as actually happening. There's also other implications and feats in dbz and dbs that support universe traveling speeds, such as Cell and Buu being threats to all the planets/life in the Universe as said by Piccolo.

As for Dyspo, thought it was clear he achieved faster than light speeds in his base and his speed was hyped once he multiplied thousands of times over.

Holly f*ck Hit was awesome!

First I was mad as hell when he was getting beaten the he outsmarted and evolved past Dypso and beat the sh!t out of him telling him to walk off the rings edge.

Goku's back and forth transform is also cool.

Or Superman.

Goku isn't necessarily faster, since they were making a big deal of Dypso being too linear and easier to predict. And SSJ Kaio Ken X10 wasn't faster then Hit after he extended his time skip again.

According to your previous post, Dyspo said he can increase his speed instantly.

This doesn't mean he moves from point A to point B instantly.

It would mean exactly what he said - he can accelerate to his top speed instantly.

Not to mention the use of the word "instant" could be a metaphor, but that would be too hard for you to understand.

But again, all of this has nothing to do with him moving 1000 x FTL.

He increased his base speed that is FTL a thousand folds.

Lol... Whis also said that Goku actions were done in an instant. This is past a metaphor.

Although Dyspo a speedster, Goku is also faster than Dyspo... in his SSBxKK10 is > Dyspo

Hit was also matching or even becoming faster than Dyspo and it was without time skip.

And it doesn't matter who is right, combat speed in this episode was far faster than speed of light.

Jiren is probably far faster than Dyspo.

I am rooting for Vegeta to take out Hit.

Never seen Flash combat at speeds 1000's of times faster than light. This is pure combat we are talking about here (remember, they can't fly), not flight speed.

Scans of Superman combating at 5% the speed of light. I am not even asking you for a light speed showing. A freaking vampire was too fast for Superman. Hell, Shadow Dragon who had only elite martial artist speed was too fast for Superman. Scans please.

As far as I'm concerned the Daizenshuu isn't canon unless Akira says a certain thing in it is. They are far too speculative, contradictory to the source material and they take WAY too many liberties.

There is no way that the original Super Saiyan is 1000s of times faster than light. There is not a single feat to support that. Dypso is the fastest character we have seen thus far. Except for maybe Whis and the other angels.

And it's arguable if Dypso was even going light, or if it was just hyperbole discription to mean he's really fast, like Piccolo talking about Radditz's attack.

Lol...he was fighting under his best and was losing on purpose. Make sense. 😂

Also, light speed was introduced during the beginning of Z but Dypso is obviously MUCH faster than light. I don't know what you was expecting him to do to prove that he is faster than light but it doesn't matter since we know it was announced to us what Dypso is capable of. Go cry in a corner.

He isn't the fastest though. Remember, Hit was blitzing him and the fighters was able to perceive him.

Goku and Hit aren't as fast as Dyspo, they're just better fighters and are predicting his moves the same way Goku predicted Hit's in the U6 tournament.

Hit was dodging his attacks and then proceeded at blitzing him. Can Kid Goku punch Flash at his best in the face and if not, why?

No because Kid Flash is faster hopping backwards on one hand then all of Dragon Ball combined.

So are you saying Kid Goku can punch Flash in the face or not?

Try reading the post again.

Liked the episode.

Now if only Vegeta remembered what he was like back in Planet Namek when he was always an underdog. I see so many wasted opportunities for him to clear out enemies.

He should go "Majin" and ruthlessly eliminated everyone with their guard down.

Oh well a fanboy can dream.

Agreed. Its Hit being a smarter fighter and beating him at "rock/paper/scissors" if you will.

I also think so. And it really seemed that when Dyspo attacked Hit, he was already at astonishing speed and could increase that speed by x1000.

No way... as far as combat speed, not even close to DBS fighters. Honestly, DBZ was already FTL at combat speed.

Yes, but that was in Universal arc. In episode 72 they wanted to show that Goku was already > universal arc SSBX10 Goku.

In combat speed DBS characters are simply above them. Due to Flash abilities, I could see him also being written faster in combat speed, but no way Superman (except flight speed). Flash can run and due to that nature simply could battle at that speed, but not Superman.

cdtm, no excuses this time. Everything was happening far FTL. Now there is no debate or doubts about this anymore (you could argue about that in the past, but not anymore).

Only what is troublesome when Toppo saw Hit was adapting and then sent that other warrior to help Dypso to take out Hit and those two were watching. Why not Jiren just go there to help Dyspo and they would take care of Hit with completely no effort and also of Goku for that matter.

But it seems Toppo has enough of it. No holding back anymore.

Nah, Dyspo was obviously already boosting his speed when he was blitzing Hit, lol. Also, the only confirmation we have is that Dyspo at his maximum could outspeed light, we don't know how much faster he was. The claim that this episode proves all the characters are MFTL has no basis in reality.

He can't, Kid Goku's not the superlatively skilled martial artist he is currently. It's a totally false equivalency no matter how you slice it... Of course, even if he was, the gap between a barely superhuman warrior and the Flash is obviously going to be far too much.

My point is, when Dyspo boosts his speed to maximum, he's faster than Goku and Hit can react. He's the fastest mortal introduced so far. The reason they can win against him is because he's relatively inexperienced, attacking too linearly and relying too much on his abilities, making it so they can predict him before he makes his attack or trick him into hesitating. It's a good feat for them, although it's basically the same as the feat Goku already has against Hit, when he predicted and countered his time skipping.
