are you under the assumption that lightspeed has absolutely nothing to do with distance or something?

Lol...so what did we learn from the new episode of DBS. A clash/punch between Goku and Beerus was destroying the Universe. Goku and Beerus clash was destroying distant planets and suns. The shockwaves from their blasts was destroying planets and creating shockwaves across the Universe.

What else we learned? Goku doesn't even need to use a ki attack to destroy the universe, his punching power is able to accomplish this. What else did we learn. That even with this kind of power, Goku and Beerus isn't even using their max power output. Goku and Beerus is still growing in power. I don't know where this put Goku and Beerus power wise but it's sure as hell above Skyfather level.

That ripples in space nonsense was really anticlimactic and annoying.

The manga version of the fight was better IMO.

I liked the Anime MUCH better.

Yea that is crazy. Well we know now they are wayyyyyy above anything in GT as well. These two are on a whole different level.

Still thinking SSG form is superior to SSGSS as well.

Yeah at this point they've pretty much confirmed these two can destroy the universe and that the true power behind SSJG is that it just keeps getting stronger. It's less a static multiplier like x50, x2, x4 but like a formula. E</=B*X where the E is enemy, the B is the base power level for Goku, and the X is whatever is needed to make B equal or better than E.

Also I really don't think arguments against the universe getting destroyed apply any more. Old Kai flatly believed both him and Kibito Kai were about to die and they technically exist outside of the universe. All of this from residual energy from Goku and Beerus, not even the main amount of strength.

So yeah pretty strong. I mean the episode was a lot of screaming and fisting but there was a bit of traditional combat near the end. I've long accepted that I'll just simply find the manga more entertaining because the speed but I can deal with the anime being ridiculous like this.

Also does anyone feel like Toriyama saw the Death Battle and got pissed that Goku lost?

Well it's as good a reason as any for Toriyama doing whatever. Still want to know how all of this will be addressed when Super covers RoF's events.

So 3 punches would have destroyed the universe... and the shockwave only got stronger the farther away it got?
Wonder if Goku is still a 40 tonner with island busting blasts?

Also the next episode Goku turns blue... or now that I think of it this is probably when Goku absorbs the power into himself and surpasses the limitations of SSG. Which judging by the movies seems likely. Tricky wordplay if so.

Not even that. The shockwaves were produced because Goku couldn't match Beerus perfectly in a Newtonian sense. The shockwaves were cause by the extra energy the two exerted in the clash, not the bulk. Or at least that is how I'm seeing it.

If we take BoG into consideration then Beerus should still be holding back. Granted the DBS manga doesn't mention the 70% thing but it is also being forced to move through the material a lot faster.

Also Beerus is just one of the coolest characters. Reminds me of Mihawk from OP in that he actively wants someone as strong as him to fight but he's a lot more wild.

When is the episode 12 out?

Right now lol.

sick!

They are so op now. I love it

It is awesome that we are getting legit feats now.

Their punches were destroying planets and suns...the shockwaves were going through the universe into other dimensions. They were destroying everything. Never seen strength like that before with just a couple of punches. Wonder what their full strength could accomplish.

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!

THAT Was BAD ASS!!

Planets weren't actually destroyed until the energy clash. It's still OP and it ends the guessing game that's been going on since there's feats now.

They still have to cover the nerfs that occur in the succeeding events but tha can wait.

This at least for now till they recton BSSGSS and then make blue hair his higher form in DBS. Since this is all canon and magna now, this trumps everything so far.
