It's a visual medium so he transforms to convey information through visuals.

Had Ultimate Gohan not existed they very well might have gone with the "no visible change indicates great change" idea but too late.

It's just gonna stick out like a sore thumb since no one else with UI seems to have the aura thing.

^ But that's exactly *why* a transformation isn't needed. Others in the series can actively use UI without transforming. They just... Fight. But of course the poster boy for DB has to be different, lol. none

Don't get me wrong, I understand the point of an explicit transformation, as it gives the scenes more of a 'bang' to the viewers who like sparkly visuals... I just think it's a bit oxymoronic, given the whole ideology behind UI. /shrug

But again, maybe the transformation gimmick will go away once Goku adapts to/masters UI further. Fingers crossed.

If the opposition is significantly more powerful, however, AND has fully mastered UI, then the more powerful being will win. For example, even Whis said that he wouldn't even be able to lay a hand on Daishinkan -- much less hope to beat him in a fight.
Makes me wonder if even though Whis seems he is casually stopping Beerus is actually casually doing it, or using his full power it just seems casual because of UI and his body moving on its own.

I would just give everyone the aura.

In One Piece there is this thing called Haki which allows characters to do attacks differently. In universe for both the manga and the anime it was initially difficult to tell whether or not someone was using Haki even though it was relevant to the audience. Which made sense, Haki is just concentrated will power, but eventually both manga and anime made Haki strikes black.

I suspect it is the same case here. Both are Toei properties. *shrugs*

Most likely... At least to *some* extent. After all, this arc in particular has made it abundantly clear that the fighting skill gleaned from UI is FAR more important/useful in battle than raw power. Heck, Whis himself even went so far as to say that if Goku and Vegeta were to fully master UI, they'd be able to defeat ANY opponent, so yeah...

...That, and a swift chop to the back of the neck seems to be the GoDs' off/reset button, lol:

*Obviously the Angels still have to be strong/fast enough to 'push' that button, though. 😉

Episode 124.
Goku suffers

Spoiler:
from schizophrenia and Vegeta was his loser alter ego. He gets cured via super dragon balls. We never hear from Vegeta again.

So, Goku is really the father of Trunks?

I don't get it.

Of course not, there isn't anything to get.

Miyata has a better speedster feat than Dragon Ball characters. Punch, followed by the sound. Whenever Goku lands a punch, you get the sound at the exact same time.

Miyata faster then a Goku. 😛

And possibly Ippo.

I mean, he literally had a guy take a dump on another guys head, and likes drawing testicles.

18’s moment against Ribrianne was refreshing. Good riddance universe 2.

I think this is an issue with the anime adaption. The transformation looks very close to gokus base form. This makes me think we are missing an intermediary thing. Like how we never got full mastery of blue on screen like the manga. If mastery of god ki means the removal of transformations in general (since the whole leaking aura thing is a result of poor energy control) This is probably close to the form needed before UI,

The fat chick should have been eliminated last.

Pretty crappy episode either way.

17 and 18 shining was great. I really liked the episode. 17's just appears back like "Sorry got sidetracked here I'll block these attacks like nothing for you".

Gohan goes mystic in next episode.

Vegeta's attempt at using UI was pretty impressive it seems like he did unlock some part of it I mean he was always good at

Spoiler:
taking punches to the face.

So each episode of DBS only equates to 2 minutes in the ToP... So it won't conclude for another 7-8 episodes, is what I'm saying.

Anyway, Vegeta attempting UI was lulz-worthy. Poor guy can't catch a break. 😂

DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD!
