I only ask because the multiverse concept, and the new characters gleaned from its reveal, seems like WAY too much of a cash-cow for Toriyama to just throw away like this -- the storytelling potential there is enormous.
...Unless, of course, they use the SDBs to 'amalgamate' the multiverse -- essentially just resurrect all of the best and noteworthy characters, and have them all reside in ONE universe(basically what DC did in COIE)..? mhmm

28 inhabited mortal planets in a universe containing 'countless' galaxies... That leaves more than enough room for the standout characters from all other [nullified] universes to roam around in w/o having to worry about things feeling claustrophobic.
...Though if that is indeed the path Toriyama decides to take, I wonder what would happen to the GoDs, Angels, and Kaioshin from the other universes? Will they stay dead, leaving Beerus/Whis/Shin as the last remaining 'Gods' in existence, or will they be resurrected as well, and reorganize cosmology to accommodate them? For example: divide the remaining universe into 12 'quadrants', with each quadrant having it's own designated GoD/Angel/Kaioshin..? mmm

A revolt would be a fun way to deal with it. Preacher like culling of the entire hierarchy.
Zeno, of course, would need to be a glass cannon with this scenerio. And so far, there's some evidence in the anime and manga that he's physically very weak and slow.. (Alternatively, the two Zeno's could just be tricked into erasing each other..)

It'll never happen, but I seriously want to see someone BESIDES Vegeta reach UI after Goku. A major powerup anyone can reach, instead of just Saiyans, would be incredibly fresh for Dragon Ball.
With all the perks of it, make it an insta-all-buff that takes you from level 1 all the way to the level cap. Don't care who it is.. Piccolo would be my first choice, or maybe one of the androids, but I'd settle for "UI Roshi" (More unlikely then Piccolo, but so is this entire scenerio.)
They've been playing so fast and loose with the upgrades lately, why not let someone else from Universe 7 besides Freeza have a bump.
