New OPM/DB crossover chapter out, it's sorta like the ROF arc except it's Cooler returning after a year of training.

Originally posted by cdtmI always took majin vegeta to be a play on the fact that vegeta needs goku. Goku would have become stronger no matter what but vegeta needs goku as a motivating force to become better. He needs to feel inadequate or he stagnates. Theres a reason vegetas smallest increases in power happened when goku wasnt around. He improved the least in that 7 year gap goku was dead .
He means the Majin powerup. But again, Vegeta had to scam that. Goku gets all his powerups with no strings attached, while Vegeta has to earn them by selling his soul to an evil wizard or bribe an outer god with goodies. (Or marry an Earth woman he happened to knock up. 😛 )

Nope... just beacuse of that power-scaling that's happening, that's an excuse that they will use.... ''Ah, Beerus is still far more powerful than them.''.
Also, I’ll never fully understand what you see in Black/Zamasu. Sure, with the crazy haxx way zenkais work now, Black’s power would increase over the course of the ToP like Goku and Vegeta’s does now, but as a tactical fighter, Black/Zamasu’s not all that. If his stabby ki blades don’t pierce Jiren, then he’s not left with that much.

Well, his zenkais and increasing power clearly easily outclassed Goku, no contest. About tactic itself, he didn't show much tactic (except them two working together) and I didn't mean as a tactic, but as pure natural talent. I mean Black was really a talent as a fighter. He was simply more perceptible, a better, sharper feeling. I think Gohan is like that, surpassing Goku in that department, a greater talent, simply more perceptible and Goku is above Vegeta here.
Jiren is a monster and I hope nor Goku nor Vegeta beats him and I hope he doesn't become a joke after some time.
